"TL;DR" or "Sorry, I know the profile is long"

Homeless human, 18 years old, who wanders the streets as a vigilante. Has an extensive knowledge of martial arts, carries a bo staff, and has a brain mutation that allows him to sense when he-- or people nearby-- are in danger.
A cocky "hero" alt for fun story RP, but open to casual Grab-and-Gulp or Sex scenes too.

Vagrant. Stray. Vagabond. Hobo. You can cherry-pick your words for it, but this young.. man?.. is homeless, a wanderer with no place of his own. Eventually, he just settled on "Tramp"-- really rolled off the tongue the best, he thinks-- and took it up as his moniker. A new name, where the old one just didn't suit him any more. Something he wears like a badge of pride. Not that there's anything wrong with having a roof over your head, being able to afford nice clothes, being able to eat fresh food every single day.. and in fact, you know, he'd probably prefer it. But when you're 18 years old, you've got your whole life ahead of you, right? Why settle down? Everywhere's a new adventure, and the mean streets can build a guy's character.

And the streets are mean. Especially when you're only standing a full
5 feet and 8 inches tall, barely weighing in at a measly 116 pounds; revisiting that whole "not being able to eat every day" thing. He gets by, though, having a particular skill for avoiding unnecessary confrontation, and supping with his fellow "wanderers" down at the soup kitchen, thanks wholly to the kindness of others. He didn't used to-- no, he used to pass the soup kitchen by, as a matter of pride-- but he's only Human, after all. And there turned out to be very little pride in eating the scraps he found in garbage cans.

Fending for yourself for so long will do that, eventually. It'll change you. It changed him in small ways, too; his
personality is a little different than it used to be. He's still young, and just being able to survive on the streets at his age has made him cocky; he's got a fast mouth on him, ready with quips and one-liners that (he thinks, anyway) are pretty slick. But more than anything, he respects good, honest people and believes in doing what's right. That you take action when you see something wrong happening, that inaction will only breed more evil in the world. That sort of thing has gotten him in over his head more times than he can count on his fingers, and Tramp's run into a few fights with people a good deal larger-- or in greater number-- than him, just trying to help someone else out. But he's a scrappy, nimble fellow, and damn good when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Way better than some hobo oughta' be, that's for sure.

So where did this strange, homeless vigilante come from, and who is he really?..

Terry Palmer was born the son of dead-beat who walked out the moment his mom got pregnant, and a woman who just couldn't handle raising him by herself. Adopted while he was still a baby, Terry was raised by a man named Anthony Palmer, a renowned martial arts instructor and policeman. In his formative years, he looked up to his adoptive father, and aspired to be just like him; a man with a strong, unbreakable moral code, who could face any challenge that came barreling at him. So the moment he was the proper age for it, and Anthony offered, the still-adolescent Terry eagerly entered his martial tutelage

The young boy took to his training with an amount of aptitude that his father-and-instructor found as eerie as alarming. At the age of 10, Terry was able to beat-- in single, hand-to-hand combat-- veteran students who had been training for years before him, and at the age of 12, he was unmatched by any sparring partner while wielding a
Bo Staff. Such was the level of his aptitude that his father took him to an institute to test his IQ that same year, and yet they found that the boy had a perfectly average intelligence compared to other children his age.

What startled the men and women at the institute was when they took a cat-scan of Terry's brain, and found that he had a
mutated amygdala. To ascertain the nature of the mutation, they ran the boy through several tests, and found that he had an astute sense of danger; not terribly amazing in-and-of itself, until further testing showed that his sense of danger was not isolated to himself, but that somehow, he could sense when others nearby were in danger as well.

This thrilled him to his very core. Having grown up on comic books and cartoons depicting super men and women, childhood heroes who could swoop in at the last second and save the day, Terry found that he could now join those selfsame heroes
by fighting crime. Unbeknownst to his friends or father, still barely a teenager, Terry would sneak out in the evening and skulk the city, looking for people in trouble and helping them. Over the next two years, Terry Palmer thwarted 67 muggings, 24 break-ins, 38 assaults, prevented 85 car crashes, and 4 bank robberies. Despite his myriad successes, he would often lament his inability to track down, and stop, the infamous drug cartel that plagued his hometown. His "power" could only track down people in danger, and (to his chagrin) that did not count "the danger of drugs."

That changed one night when a heated argument between the cartel leader and his second-in-command went critical, and one of them pulled a knife on the other. Terry broke into the building to stop the fight before realizing that the warehouse he'd stumbled into was full of the cartel's latest shipment of drugs.. and that one of the two men in front of him, the cartel's second-in-command, was none other than Anthony Palmer.
His father. An awe-struck Terry barely got a single, angry word out of his mouth before Anthony was stabbed in the back by his associate, and the grieving teenager was forced to choose between helping his father-- who he had only seconds prior learned was a major drug dealer-- or chasing the cartel leader.

Terry chose the cartel leader.

With tears in his eyes and an unquenchable rage in his heart, the vengeful Terry Palmer chased down the man who'd stabbed his father. And when he finally caught up to him, he beat him. He beat him within an inch of his life.. and then he kept beating him, until the man's face was unrecognizable and his heart stopped beating.

Twenty minutes later, a 15-year-old Terry came to his senses, realizing what had just occurred, and what he'd done. He looked down on the bloody mess below him, and turned heel-- running back to the warehouse, only to find that his father had already died, cold and alone on the concrete floor. From there, he saw two options ahead of him: he could either stay in the city, answer for his slaughter of the cartel leader who had not been given the chance at a fair trial, inherit his adoptive-father-slash-criminal's home and martial arts school, or.. he could run. He could run far away, leave his old life behind, and just start a new life on the streets. With the sound of a passing siren ringing in his ears, the decision seemed simple enough.

Now, he merely roams.
A homeless Tramp, living day to day and helping those in need.
