The truth being is she was screwing around wreaking the home of a with doctor that lived near by the home of her adopted father and one thing lead to another and the witch doctor tried to turn the anthro night fury into a feral one but was stopped half way by her adopted human father. She refuses to say his name as the father tried to sell her to a circus before she ran away leaving everything destroyed in her escape.
