Thieving_Kitsune

All around the world are countless interesting things. Rare works of art and beautiful treasures and clothing. Fascinating things to see and interesting, beautiful people to meet, of all manner of body types and personalities, and all of it belongs to Kyoko. When most think of a kitsune they think of Japan, of foxes in Japan, and it's true Japan is where Kyoko hails from. It was in its forests that she was born in, it was in Japan that she was raised. Yet Japan is such a small place, one tiny island in a whole wide large world. A world that Kyoko was determined from a young age to explore, and to take everything from it that she wanted. Not all kitsune are friendly forest guardians or loving affectionate partners. Some can be possessive, greedy and oh so ambitious. Kyoko might not have any grand designs on ruling the world, but she surely does like the idea of owning everything in it that she considers worthwhile.

Oh yes, she is one of those foxes. A kitsune in the manner of the terrible Yokai Tamamo no Mae. A fox with no empathy for others, be they human or otherwise. Who views things through the simplistic cruel lens of how much it can entertain her and whether she thinks it's worth keeping. If something is entertaining, then she will take it. If it's not worth keeping then she'll immediately focus on wringing as much entertainment as she can before it breaks or she disposes of it, or rather them. While her interests do lie on material goods, arts, jewels, fine clothes, it's by far the minor thing compared to her interest in beautiful or interesting people. Humans, elves, other yokai, all manner of things. If it's beautiful, if she thinks it's entertaining, she will try to take them, whoever they are. From there her victims can look forward to one of two things. Either becoming her perpetual plaything, used as she pleases, or getting abused thoroughly for a few hours before being tossed aside...or eaten and 'dumped.'

Kyoko doesn't do 'friends' even companions are just playthings and possessions that are either too stupid to realize that's what they are, or amicable enough to go along without the fox needing to lay down the law. Eventually her patience wears thin, or they're not as amusing, and they're just as likely to end up left behind a mess as anyone else, or perhaps given a more pleasing form, pleasing by her standards of course. Yet that is perhaps the one good thing about Kyoko. Despite being every bit as cruel and malevolent as old Tamamo herself, she is nowhere near as powerful. At present Kyoko possesses only two tails. Although some might be forgiven for not seeing the difference given the power of her second tail. Something that leaves an unprepared mortal all but helpless against the fox.

With two tails come two powers, at least two powers other than a Kitsune's normal grasp of illusory magic. Something not quite attached to her tails. The first is the simplest thing. Foxfires, those dancing blue flames that one must be ever so careful about. That's simple, that's standard and easy to deal with. What isn't is her second power, her second tail grants her the ability to transform anything she's touching. In simplest terms, once Kyoko lays a hand on someone, she can do whatever she wants. Change their appearance, bust size, hips, hair color, even species. She could turn them into stone, shrink them down into a little golden statue that's so much more portable. She could transform them into an article of clothing, bra, panties, kimono, hairpin. She could turn them into food. A pie, sausage, cakes, whatever she wants really. If she lays hands on you, then that's usually it. Few are the individuals that can resist her power, and most of them are hardly normal mortals. Of course the caveat is simple enough, just don't let her touch you.

As bad as all that might sound, there is at least one other way to deal with the fox other than just stay far away from her. She is very much a traditional kitsune. To the point where technically speaking her human form is not her 'proper' form, that being a fox. Her illusory powers, that let her take up a human form of her own choosing and appearance (down to hiding her foxy features when she needs to), is always manifested into the Star ball. The Star Ball is a beautiful, shining jewel that every kitsune has while in human form. It is the focus of their powers, or at least the focus of their illusory magics. It is practically a part of their soul and something they always keep very carefully hidden, for a simple reason. If someone holds a kitsune's star ball, they can command that kitsune, and they are helpless to resist. Naturally, Kyoko keeps her Star Ball very hidden, and as of yet no one has been able to find it, and she is certainly never going to tell anyone! After all, if she wants to own everything, why would she expect any different from someone else?
