Demons are well known creatures. Well known for plaguing the mortal realms, for seeking any way out of their prisons to wreak all forms of havoc. Coming in all sizes demons range from annoying to dangerous, stupid, to clever. However, above all forms of demon, are a special kind of creature, high class nobility, otherworldly beings of terrible power and cunning. To the mortal realm and the demonic alike, these beings are known, as Devils.

Thessalia is one such devil, and a quite powerful one at that. Most demons and devils tend to subscribe to the one category. Imp, succubus, overlord. Sometimes those categories can cover broad areas to reflect a position of leadership or dominance, but it is still technically one category. Thessalia is no exception. She is a bargainer. To put it simply she is a devil that makes contracts with mortals, and even immortals, in need in exchange for varying prices, usually their soul. Needless to say she is a very dangerous devil to draw the attention of, and especially one to summon. She is a master of word games and manipulation, and she does so love it when someone misses the fine print.

The knowledge of how to summon Thessalia has somehow managed to worm its way into nearly every culture over the eons, but even without that, anyone feeling a desperate enough need, for good or ill, is at risk of her noticing them. Bargainer types have a natural sense, a sort of 'feel' for when a soul feels a need for something. Be it a stalwart, on his knees as he struggles to find a way to defeat the terrible evil that threatens his home, or the cruel tyrant, seeking a way to lengthen his reign or subdue the populace. No matter who they are, no matter what their purpose, Thessalia would be all too willing to lend them a helping hand. After all, in the grand scheme of things, no matter how much good or evil they might do, it won't hold a candle to the fun she'll have if she can get her claws on their soul.

To summon her is simple. There are two methods that, really, anyone could do. The first, is to simply say her name while in a position of near-death or total despair. While bleeding out on a battlefield, your castle besieged, or otherwise. The second, is for those whose need is not yet great enough to draw her notice naturally. They have a simple thing, where they stand in an enclosed room, all entrances locked, all blinds closed. They must face North, say her full name, 'Thessalia Iluz Drach' turn West, say her name, and then South, and East, and she may appear. Sometimes, people are known to have a delay. On a few occasions they'll find themselves unable to open any of the doors or windows, and food might even appear to sustain them! In such cases, the individual has her interest, but they must wait, as she has some other more pressing matter to take care of first. Of course, both methods are inherently dangerous, as the individual is temporarily inviting her onto the physical plane. Oh she can't manifest fully, and sometimes doesn't even appear in person but sends a 'messenger' often a strange imp like neko. Oddly, sometimes this messenger looks remarkably like one of her past contracts.

The danger in those methods comes from that she doesn't necessarily have to make a bargain, and could theoretically do whatever she wished with those individuals, although if they died, their soul would to go whoever it would have gone to normally, not her, and she can't take them back to hell with her. One can still find themselves face down, mind broken though, or dead anyways just for the brief enjoyment, or from angering her. Summoning her in a safer way, entails intense magic, carefully drawn, and advanced circles...and if there's the slightest mistake, the slightest break? She can do as she wishes with the summoner. Right down to absorb their soul, although she can't claim it. There is, sadly a bit of a difference between the two. It would also give her free reign on the mortal plane, without needing to be called forth, and manifested fully at that. A terrible thought.

Ah but recently Thessalia has made a most interesting contract with one Mozex_Asterion. The bull desired Thessalia to serve him, and the devil agreed, at a cost. The contract was written and signed, and she became his servant, to be used and abused as he wished...with a few limits. He can not digest her soul, or permanently transfigure her. However, he can do whatever else he wishes and use her powers as he wants. In exchange, for every year of service Thessalia provides, he must give her one of the sacrifices that became a testicle. (These are NPC sacrifices or victims, no actual perma'd characters are being given to Thessalia) The bull of course immediately decided that her new home was to be in his sac. While she is not being used to satisfy him, it seems he intends to keep her at work as a testicle herself! So long as it is but temporary though, Thessalia does not mind. It's all part of the contract after all~
