If one were to look up popular in a dictionary, this fellow wouldn't be anywhere near the definition. As far as anyone knows, he's...a ghost, in that regard and in most others. Oliver Cliff has never been one for the public eye - and never had good enough reason to be.

Of course, social interaction still "graces" him sometimes, and when it does he's usually sweet as can be to whoever gave him such graces. Wise, too - when you're not chattering all day you've got time to hit the books. All in all, he's a great guy when you get him to open up, but not many do.

When no one's watching or even thinking of watching what you do, you can get by with a lot more. Ol' Oliver Cliff has capatalized on that quite heartily. So much so that his grocery budget is far, far lower than most people's - and the disappearances somehow associated with him are far, far higher.

Of course, one should fare perfectly well just...getting to know him, right?
