Creator's notes: This is a collaborative character profile.

You won't meet all of them at once. it's up to you to decide which one you want to roleplay with. all of these characters are good at battling rps. in fact made with battling in mind. everything in the equal signs can be skipped.

it's the back story of how these characters came to be and help you get a general understanding of what you're getting into before looking at the individual characters.

You will have to look at the individual characters for their individual sliders, this is a summarization of them as a whole

Imagine if there was a world dominated by machinery. War and anarchy have ravaged the land, the ground is red with blood, the sky is full of polluted fumes and eventually the people will bring about their own destruction.

However in this world, 1,000 years ago a massive amount of land in the far east simply vanished! The cause of these was a dimensional seal created by 2 people.The two beings had foreseen the destruction of such a world, so they and as many people who would listen to them; fled the only way they knew they couldn't be followed.

Slipping through the cracks of time and space, the two beings created their own plane of existence, the magical world of Kynestra. The first of the two beings was a woman with long hair that flowed down like a pristine river. She called forth the rains that made the land soft. The second of the two was a man with rock hard muscles and carried the scars of war on his back like fissures in the earth. They didn't account for the demons who would had followed them however. Creating 4 shrines on the fragile points of the barrier, they entrusted 4 people with maintaining the more crucial efforts in case they ever fell.

Working among each other they christened themselves the seasonal shrine maidens, one of the many gifts bestowed onto them tied to the seasons in one way or another.

Aki the autumn shrine maiden was responsible for the winds and assisted by the spring maiden, creating bountiful harvests. With these winds she was also shared responsibility for calling rain storms.

Natsu the summer maiden got a stronger burden, for her powers were connected to the rising sun; she was hand picked by who soon became known as the Solarian emperor. Controlling the heat of the sun, she could use evaporation to create clouds. The summer maiden was also a hunter, guiding and assisting the humans in telling which creatures were good to eat.

Fuyu the winter maiden, hand picked by who soon became known the Tethysian queen was responsible for the rains, cold and the setting moon. She sheltered the barren trees, making sure the cold didn't kill them. Assisted by Aki she could create snow storms.

All except Haru the spring maiden was truly content with her role. She was responsible for the growing and awakening of trees, nurturing of newborn life, making the flowers bloom, and with Aki's help growing fruits.She cared for her flowers greated, so when Natsu said it was time to bring in the green leaves Haru would always protest; only for her to be over ruled by a three to one vote. One day Haru used her gift of nurturing life to turn the monsters against the humans and other shrine maidens. She wanted to take control of the other seasons and convert them over to spring; this would essentially make Haru the new goddess and induce never ending spring.

It resulted in a war, one that Haru lost as she was sealed away in the only remnant of what they left behind from the polluted world; A tree of black scorched wood that had been set ablaze by crude oil.

The three deities, now goddesses had to reach out to that dismal world to find new shrine maidens. Faith gave them power, power that kept the world turning but now was required to keep the spring demon sealed away.

Leading us to the present after many years the story of the war has been distorted, the new shrine maidens having to compete against each other to gather faith any way they can.

In this world of magic and demons these girls fight a never ending battle the likes never seen by mortal eyes. Will someone fall? Will they live to bear children and continue the cycle of attrition? Only time will tell, because Spring WILL come, SOMEDAY.
