The_Sculptor

Edward Rowan would seem to be a perfect image of a visonary. From his works, to his ideas, to how they're spread and talked about, one would think this soul was the next idol for...who can even quite say? What he says strikes a chord in many a person, but he doesn't seem to have a target. Most of his sculptures stem from personal experiences...and for the wayfarer, drawing from experience is like scooping up water in a bucket from an ocean's wealth of it.

At heart, he's a sculptor. The ideas are mainly secondary, musings, statements, what have you. Out of the now more certainly remaining Rowan brothers, he's the arsty one of the few. The others can attest, mostly to their behest, as he does seem to also take an artistic lisence with his thoughts, too. To be prompt and simple about it, his head's in the clouds more often than his feet are on the ground.

That's not to say his mind's for the birds; not at all. He's a charming fellow, just of a different breed. Like a heron in a chicken coop, a fish out of water, an ostrich among giraffes, what have you. He's amassed a following, and good on him for it - it's nowhere but up for the oddities, right? That seems to be the case with him, and many other branches of the Rowan family tree. It's just that that's not necessarily a good thing for most people, especially those who do follow what he does and take a liking to him.

You see, some of his sculptures are crowd-sourced projects, in a way. The material, at least, and tests can prove that. The generous donators he always seems to be able to rope in fall into the same patterns. They see his works, they're charmed with a oddball of an artist, things happen, a live...er, contributor falls right into his hands, and soon he wakes up with material just begging to be unpacked. Collections of Edward's sculptures seem to live up to the last part of his name - as wooden as the bark off of a tree. If it wasn't clear enough, this man of the humanties fashions himself a humanitarian, which could differ in meaning depending on where you are with him. If you're in public; a noble man, one for human welfare, a cartoonishly good person. In private, it's simply what's on the menu.

But hey, why care about that when you've got a one-way ticket to be immortalized...in a new, browner form~?
