The_Lathmourne

Appearance

The Lathmourne are a profoundly disturbing species. She resembles nothing so much as an anthropomorphic albino deer. Her anthropomorphic body is covered in short, soft fur of snowy white. Her hands and feet are without claws and strongly resemble those of a human, and she has large, soulful brown eyes.

She looks altogether non-threatening. Which, of course, is the trick. She is careful never to reveal her vicious fangs until it's already too late. Her race is designed to display a soft beauty which lulls potential prey into a false sense of security.

Personality

The Lathmourne is a vicious predator, but surprisingly intelligent. She has no qualms whatsoever with engaging in a deep spiritual conversation before eating her companion.

History and Identity

The Lathmourne are a race from a mysterious and ancient world. She is the only one of her kind ever to venture from that world, much less find herself in a place like Nexus.

Because of the means by which they communicate, she does not have a name which might be written or spoken, she is identified simply by the idea of herself.

Powers, Skills and Abilities

First and foremost, the Lathmourne are telepathic... Very telepathic. They do not possess vocal cords, and are thus completely mute. They communicate entirely through telepathy. They do not express themselves in words, but in ideas and images. They find it child's play to invade the mind of anyone who has not trained to defend themselves, reading their thoughts as if they had been spoken aloud. A mage is more difficult to read, but there are ways.

Telepathy is far from their most deadly skill. The skin and fur of the any other animal. This chemical creates a sense of peace and euphoria, and renders the subject vulnerable to telepathic suggestion. Visual hallucinations and an aphrodisiac effect are common side effects.

The Lathmourne use their debilitating touch to hunt. A mere moment's skin contact renders their prey completely at the mercy of the predator. They often induce their victims to walk willingly into the midst of the pack before killing themselves to save the Lathmourne themselves the trouble. As such, they are among the only beings in their home world who consider dragons a natural food source.

Lathmourne fur contains variable pigment, they can change their color at will to blend in with their surroundings or to display emotion.

These creatures also possess a supernatural grace which allows them to hunt silently, and adds to their beauty.

OOC Notes



Random acts of initiating play with me will almost always receive a positive response. Including aggressive predatory behaviour, I like dominance play. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't ready to play a little game, and I could use a little unsolicited attention. This is true even if I'm engaged with someone else, but ask the other guy first. Just check my status, and stick my screen name in the first post to get my attention.



For the most part my preferences are negotiable, my only hard limits are no watersports, no scat, no anal anything, and I don't do sex scenes with human characters; so don't be afraid you'll bother me by initiating something I didn't okay. I like surprises.



I like things unscripted, so unless I feel that something might be stepping on someone's toes I won't tell you my plans, and what I do and say IC may not reflect what I'm really hoping for (i.e. unwilling stuff, I won't ask for it OC, I expect you to figure it out). I usually ask if I can bring more people into a scene, or if I want to join one in progress, but if your profile says you like unwilling vore and your status says "open" I'll just start. Same is true for fatality, don't say you like it unless you mean it.

Online- Usually this means I forgot to set it. Feel free to contact me but if I'm not actively posting whisper first to get my attention. If I am actively posting it's best to stick my name in your post I'm supposed to read, so it'll beep at me.


Away- I never use this one.


Looking For RP- Actively seeking an engaging game. Again, make sure you have my attention, but a whisper isn't necessary.


Do Not Disturb- I rarely use this one, but if I do it's because I'm in a private game with someone and not interested in any other interaction. This is most likely to happen when I plan on leaving soon.


RP as Prey- Actively looking for a game, but only as prey.


RP as Pred- Actively looking for a game, but only as pred.


OOC- Not likely to use this. If I do, it's because I'm here to chat with somebody but not looking to play, usually because I don't have time.


IC- Consider this indicative that I'm here, but I'm not interested in a committed scene, so if you want to engage me it'll just be idle chat and stuff.


Open- This is pretty much my default. If I'm not actively posting, this means I'm interested in someone approaching me. If I'm involved with someone, it means I'd have no problem with someone joining in, but ask the other guy first. However, with this status, I might not have all night for a scenario, so you're more likely to get a little chatting and maybe a grab and gulp, as I might have to leave suddenly.
