Amethysts... too many Amethysts! Formerly Quartz soldiers on Earth. The Famethyst are a large group of Quartz soldiers who now protect the Human Zoo in space, commanded by their no-nonsense, snobby Gem-leader, Holly_Blue Agate.

The Quartzes are what you might consider Hungry_Amethyst's sisters, who confusingly goes by that name, but these Amethysts were born on Earth in the same spot she was, she merely emerged a few thousand years late.

Amethysts and Quartz soldiers do not have names, instead they go by their designations but are allowed nicknames to avoid confusion. Amethysts are typically fun-loving, lazy slackers, atleast in the eyes of their commanders, seen as disposable brutes unlike Jaspers, who tend to be orientated for fighting.

Having been born on Earth, the Famethyst were subject to resource shortages and excessive drainage of surrounding material in order to produce them more quickly and as a result the Famethyst are more commonly defective, suffering from height and gem issues, or even mental deficits. After the end of the war all Earth-born Quartzes were shipped to the Zoo to guard the humans kept in captivity there.

- Notable Amethysts. (In total there are atleast five hundred living on the station. Gems are born when a special fluid is injected into the ground, they then burst out when matured, these spots are called Kindergartens. Gems look very similar to each other but dress differently and have certain features.)


- 8XG "Easter"
8XG is an Amethyst apart of the Zoo's protective detail, she has pink, almost hot-pink skin and larger than average eyes, with thin eyebrows and small pupils.
She has an Amethyst gemstone on the back of her right-hand and bright-white hair identical in length to her sisters. She enjoys slacking off and playing with the other Amethysts, hatching pranks at Holly Blues expense.

- 8XJ "Curly"
8XJ is "Easter"'s partner and serves with her on guard-duties, she has freckled, violet skin and above-average eyes with normal dark pupils, she has bushy eyebrows and large lips.
She has her Gemstone on her right-bicep, buried beneath her curly, off-white hair. When gestating Curly absorbed a higher concentration of iron than is acceptable which resulted in her curlier hair and a cute nickname.

- 8XL "Hippie"
8XL is one of the Amethysts in continuous standby inside the Famethyst Barracks, she has been barred from actual guard duty due to her rebellious and mischevious nature. She has purple skin and normal eyes, thin eyebrows and plump lips.
She has her Gemstone on her right hip, earning her the nickname "Hippie", and she has lavender colored hair. Hippie is unable to shapeshift and is prone to premature weapon-summoning.

- 1XA "Carnelian"
1XA is a unique mutation of Amethyst as a result of her gems defect, theorys propose she merged with a Ruby who was mistakingly placed in the ground beside her, explaining her immature size. (Reference above, she is the short, red skinned gem)
Carnelian is rowdier than most of the other Amethysts, a excited ball of energy. She likes piggy-back rides and playing around with the other Quartzes, especially "Skinny".

- 4XB "Skinny"
4XB is a defective Jasper who does not hail from the same Kindergarten as the majority of the Amethysts, she loves to joke about that, calling the Famethyst 'clingy', Carnelian is her partner in crime.
Unlike most Jaspers, instead of coming out big and strong, she came out skinny and tall. Skinny enjoys being sassy and sarcastic, but is just as silly as the other Amethysts she spends every day with. (Next to Carnelian, a skinny cheeto puff~)
