Did you ever eat pizza and wondered how it would taste with a different kind of topping? At the Dark Slice, you can! This one-of-a-kind pizza shop has the widest variety of pizza anyone has ever seen! In fact, its advertising says that you can order anything or anyone as your pizza topping. Want the wildest combo of anything? You can? Want that boy/girl you have a crush on? You can! Want your favorite TV star? You can! Want to be the topping? You can!

As you can see, this is a special restaurant centred around the consumption of pizza. At least, that's what is advertised on front. The restaurant as a dark side and a few rumors going about it. Some employees seem forced to work there. Some of the toppings don't see happy to be there. When some gifted topping enter in the machine that makes the pizza, sometime they can hear a distant plea, calling for help.

What is going on in that restaurant? Is Kagai really that nice, or does she have some dark secrets? No matter the answer, one thing is sure: The pizza is going to the best you will ever have eaten!

Detailled description

The building is made of 4 main parts: The main restaurant, the kitchen, the pizza room and the event room.

The main restaurant: That is the part of the building that most people see during their visit. Decorated as an old style restaurant, the room has enough tables for 200 customers at once, with tables of various sizes to accommodate different kind of people, to a reasonable limit. In this room, there are often as many as 10 waitress working at the same time, most anthro, demi or human, but some are different from the norm, as long as they can move the food around. To the right is the entrance to the main room and to the left is the kitchen.

The Kitchen: The kitchen is the place where the magic happen... in the other restaurants. In this one, not many things happen. There is a cook or two on standby, in case someone want to witness some traditional pizza cooking. Every tools and machines for that are there and ready to be used anytime. The back of the kitchen, not seen by the public, is where the less fun stuff happen. Some people are tied up together, some are waiting in a line to become part of a pizza and one guard is there to keep everyone on check. The backroom is massive; there can be 50 people waiting there at once, on busy days.

The pizza room: This is there the REAL magic happen. This room, taking the whole north section of the building, looks simple. It's a huge empty room, where the people to be put into pizza are shoved in. Under that room is the machine that materialize the pizza into the room, placing the victim onto the hot bread almost instantly. Almost, as there is some visual effects, often in the pink teint of color. Some people have experienced a bit of headlighted-ness during the short but intense process. Some rarer people even talk about having heard a call for help from something that sounded in horrible pain. The official stance is that it's a normal side effect of the materialization process.

The event room: This is the right wing of the building, another room as big as the pizza one, with large windows. It's used for parties, eating binge contests and other special events. It can also be rent after closing time for more private parties, where the only law is that there is no law.

History:

How did an umbreon manage to acquire a building and make a pizza shop out of it? Here's the history behind the foundation of the first The Dark Slide(tm) restaurant. It all started on a dark stormy Winter evening. Kagai was a bit cold outside and teaching her very young eevee daughter how to get food from people. She happened to come across a pizza shop and begged for some food. The owner, a generous man, fed the two some of pizza slices. As they were eating outside, the vixen noticed how people were giving away their shiny coins (and some uninteresting paper pieces) in exchange for pizza, giving her the idea to start her own shop.

Unfortunately, her initial search for staff didn't have much success. No one wanted to work for a pokemon who was after useless coins. The project was pushed aside until the day she made a discovery that would allow her to change the world of pizza making forever. With the help of a human friend, she built the first prototype of the Instant Pizza Making machine, a device able to instantly produce pizza (and probably other things, but it is mostly only use for pizza). Investors flew to that new invention and Kagai inc. was born. With the initial market stocks, she bought the old pizza shop from the old man she met months before and renovated it to new, modern standards. A extra large version of the device was installed under the main pizza making room, allowing the restaurant to mass produce pizza or to make one almost as large as one could desire.

The income of money also allowed Kagai to hire talented staff, to build a large traditional kitchen for the purists and traditional pizza lovers. Finally, after a few weeks of efforts, the restaurant opened its doors. The fast food service gathered it a large amount of popularity and there's talks about opening a franchise on the other side of the park. The umbreon remained opposed to it for the time being, insisting that she wasn't quite ready, resource wise...
