The_Damned

- Centuries ago, a being, unknown if humanoid or overworldly being, offended the demonic goddess ImRhys, in vengence the Goddess Damned them. It has long been rumored this damnation was in some nature terrifying to the victim, but the validity of this is unknown. But what is known is that this individual was struck down brutally by the demonic goddess, their remains infused with their remaining consciousness and their essence fused directly to each cell of their remains and a new life awakened.

The Damned first awakened to existance as a biomass of ooze and slime. Being the remains of their own flesh, it slowly reverted to more single cell form of life, but of limited sentience. How much of the original being's mind reminded in the beginning is unknown, but now centuries later it acts more animal then humanoid. Although it does possess a deadly cunning, problem solving capacity, and memory.

- Envelopment/Absorption: each piece/segment can either work together with others or by itself, envelop a target and absorb them. This is generally by the same means as single cell creatures eat: cell by cell transformation into more of The Damned biomass.
--- Infection: Individually they can act as an infection of an individual, and if not "treated" will slowly over hours infect that prey. As infection spreads the prey will start to feel the urge to "go somewhere", as The_Damned calls them home. But if they are barred from this, then over days their body will slowly subcome to this infection and they will become a semi independent The_Damned until they can reunion with the Core.
- Unbirthing: if an infected host UB's another prey, that prey is reborn as fully function The Damned biomass and merges with the Core.
- Digestion: in self defense or extreme hunger this organism will envelop and mass digest prey to feed all of its mass at once. It is also what will happen if any hosts get ahold of prey and feed on them, since hosts generally cannot absorb prey.
- Note to Soul Vore: though not mandatory, the player prefers to think of The Damned as a creature that spreads the original "curse" by soul sucking new prey to join it in its damnation. As to whether this is part of the curse itself or a need by The Damned, is unknown.
