The_C_Mansion

An apartment complex on the corner of Imagine Drive and Do Street, the place doesn't look too special except for the sign in the window: "The C Mansion. Please knock." Once inside, though, the place certainly lives up to its name; Elegant, big (Much bigger than it looks on the outside) and packed full of different creatures. What will you encounter?

The C Mansion is mostly a place for my characters (Damon_) so they have somewhere to live if one isn't already marked on their profile. It also functions as a boarding house, so feel free to ask to live here!

The building has many wings, each marked with an apropos name: The OC Wing, the Pokemon Wing, the Digimon Wing, etc.

Guests (other players characters) will stay in the Guest Wing, or Wing D.

All goods and services do have prices, but the prices are not monetary (for money), but rather, menial. (as in "menial work") Basically, in order to keep things in the mansion, all you have to do are chores. The first challenge is furnishing your room. You can get a bed and dresser from storage, but you have to get them to your room yourself. You can ask one of the other tenants for help, but not the family running the place, which brings us to the next section:

The place is run by Damon_Pulse And his family. He's in charge of the rooms, his wife, Tiriana is in charge of pokemon translation machines, and his Brother D-mon is the alchem- I mean, apothecary.

Certain other characters that I own also have a role here. Sparks_ is in charge of Pokespeak to English classes; Moggie is in charge of Spellcasting classes; and Pepperoni is in charge of the kitchen. (Fitting, right?)

The building is enchanted, so expect strange things to happen.

Guest option: Work points
As you may have guessed, since the place is a boarding house, rent is due each month (Roleplay time), but for guests who are willing to do a little extra work, they'll have a little leeway. So, Damon thought of this system: As you work,(if you don't have a previous debt) you'll accrue "Work Points",(WP) one for each hour of work you put in.(Again, Roleplay time) Work consists of:
Helping one of the staff members (each type of "Help" will be explained under each staff members goods and services)
Doing assigned chores (You get a list each day)
Helping out another tenant
Every month, Damon will deduct 5 WP from each tenant's running total as "Rent". If this gives you a debt of WP, then you have a problem... You're given a grace period of 5 days, after which you'll gain more WP debt, at the rate of .06 WP (that's a minute more of work you have to do) per day, including the 5 days of the grace period. Continue to be delinquent on this debt and eventually gain up to 10 WP debt, and you'll get a polite knock on your room door. When you answer it, you'll be eaten, and will be reformed and eaten again after digestion for however long as it took you to gain that big debt. (Or, if the player so chooses, they may be digested and kept as a conscious part of their predator for that time, being reformed after the debt is paid off.)
Don't think you can avoid being eaten by not opening your door, though, as after three unanswered knocks from the predator, your room door will disappear, letting them in.
Accumulating 24 WP (a day's-worth of work) will nab you a "Super Work Point" (SWP)in return, representing that day's-worth.
Work Points may be used to purchase goods and services in the building as well.
Work Points can only be collected by tenants. If you move out, your WP will be "frozen" until you move back in, if you ever do.

Goods and services and their prices

Damon's money exchange
Damon is willing to pay tenants real (Nexus) money in exchange for SWP only, at the price of $20 for each SWP.
You may not pay him money to buy WP or SWP, however.
Helping Damon consists of cleaning unused rooms for him.

Tiriana's Translators
D model: Known as a "Trandy" for the words on the unit: "TRANslator- D model" A simple box with a speaker, carrying handle and moulded "feet", It also has a few dials such as "volume" and "pitch". Just don't play jokes with that dial, or the improperly-translated voice pitch of the pokemon may make it a little more than miffed at you... Default color is red, but blue, green, orange and yellow options are availabe, as well as other colors, and color variations do not add to the cost.(Price: 3 days of work, since it's the easiest to make. (3 SWP))
G model: The "Trangees" Are earpieces you stick in one of your ears to translate the pokemon's speech directly into your eardrums. No controls, the volume and pitch alters itself for a truer-sounding translation. Default color is silver, but it also comes in multiple colors.(Price: One week of work, since putting the technology to do what it does in its size takes quite a bit longer than a Trandy.(7 SWP))
Z model: "Tranzees" Are the most personal, as they are collars with an attached speaker box that must be put around the pokemon's neck itself. Definitely a better idea for a pokemon you own or are good friends with. Default color is black, but, as the others, it comes in plenty of other colors.(Price: Half a month of work, since it's the toughest to make.(Approx. 18 SWP))
Helping Tiriana consists of giving her assistance in making these translators, such as handing her tools and getting her refreshments. Speaking of which:

Pepperoni's Kitchen Duty
Pepp watches the kitchen, and keeps track of all items which are used there, so he can restock when he needs to.
Helping Pepp consists of going out into Nexus and getting some items for him. This is the only insistance where you can get WP by actually leaving the building.

D-mon's Apothecary
D-mon, Damon's brother (true name: Damien) runs the apothecary, making potions. Damon calls it alchemy, but D-mon prefers "apothecary"
Potion types: Anything you can think of. You wanna shrink someone? He's got those. Wanna grow someone? Those too. Wanna be stretchy? Sure, he can do that. Wanna change species? Yep, that's possible. The prices are based on dosage. A temporary dose would be around a few days of work, however long it lasts, in fact. However, a permanent dose will always run you a few weeks of work.
Helping D-mon is twofold: either helping him test out new concoctions or, like Tiriana, handing him chemicals or getting him stuff. He'd often ask for just food, though, since mixing up potions and drinks is too easy and could be disasterous.

Sparks' English classes for pokemon
Sparks' classes are free for all guests, but will cost a day of work for each sit-in.
Helping Sparks entails of being a guest speaker for him, though he may also ask you to help proofread worksheets.

Moggie's magic classes Moggie teaches all colors of FF magic, from red to green, and every color in-between. He also explains Materia, junctions, and even sphere grids and dresspheres, though he doesn't give any away. His classes are priced the same way as Sparks'; free for guests, and one day of work for each sit-in.
Helping Moggie consists of Demonstrating certain spells, or being demonstrated on. He may also ask you to help grade papers.

Moggie's Magic tomes and appearance hats/hoods
(I put this on a different line since it has nothing to do with the moogle's actual classes)
If you don't have the time to attend one of Moggie's classes, he'll be happy to sell you magic tomes so you can learn the spells on your own. Each one costs a day of work, multiplied by the level of the spell. So a level one spell tome would cost a single day of work, and a level 7 would cost a week. (1 SWP or 7, respectively)
Also, he sells special hats and hoods so you can look the part of the spell's mage while casting them. He even has a summoner's unicorn horn. Put on the item, and the appearance of your clothes will change accordingly. It doesn't actually change your clothes, just the appearance of them. However, while wearing the item, the illusory clothes will actually feel real, to both the wearer and anyone who happens to touch them. Very powerful magic, and as such, costs about a month of work; two for some.(approx. 30 SWP or 60, also respectively)

Feel free to come by whenever! (Also, any RP's with one of my characters may incorporate this place)

Characters who own a Pokemon Translator:
Cutch (Tranzy, Paid off.)
Miles_King(Trangee, As yet unpaid. (1 day of work remaining)))
MaxTheTamer(Well, not exactly... The translator was actually for a chimchar belonging to a friend of Max that the player also controlled. Tranzy, as yet unpaid (6 days of work left))
Ener_Galvantula(Tranzy, Paid off.)

Characters who have received a potion from D-mon:
Bonester(Elasticity Potion)
Kel_Seeon(MiP(Micro Pred) Potion)
MaxTheTamer(Again, this was actually for the chimchar. Damon gave it to him in an Apple Juice box. MiP potion)

Characters who have received something from Moggie:
MaxTheTamer (White Mage hood, Cure tome, Poisona tome, and Scan tome)
