Before [REDACTED] became Robin, he was part of the traveling circus, with his parents, as part of the "[REDACTED]", and was a master acrobat. However, during a show, the tightrope was sabotaged with acid, and his parents fell to their doom. He then met Batman, who taught him, fathered him, and gave him the chance for revenge against his parents' killers. He then swore that he would help fight crime wherever he was needed, and has held it up for a while now.
