In the dark future of the 41st millenium, Mankind encountered many horrifying threats from the stars and beyond. No threat was worse nor as terrifying as the tyranid swarms. Focused on the devourment of all biomass in the known universe. they came quickly, and suddenly, devouring world after world to quench their ceaseless hunger. leaving nothing but husks and stone of planets once teeming with life.

Among the vast multitudes of organisms tasked woth devouring every scrap of biomass in the universe. the Swarmlord was among the most deadly and versitile. taller than most humans and astartes alike, these creatures worked as a commanding unit upon the battlefield, ordering the lesser beings in a synaptic connection, allowing the will of their hivemind to be carried out in greater detail. Ferocity is an understatement for this creature.

And now, through the strange motions of the warp, a swarmlord had managed to come to nexus, but in doing so, seemed to bind with a human being upon appearing. becoming, less, tyranid but becoming more hungry. Its own mind growing rational and even, understanding of its position. A new land of biomass was teeming before it. and for the first time. the connection to the swarm was silent.

It could have its fill all to itself..
