PATIENT: The Mighty Samson

Mighty Samson: Doctor, I think, deep down, I want to be defeated by my enemies. Well, actually, I've already let myself be defeated by them.

Psychologist: (Nods thoughtfully) That's quite a revelation, Mr Samson, especially since the general public believes that you have never been beaten. What makes you say that?

Mighty Samson: I've been thinking about it lately, and it seems that every time I find myself in a tough spot, I just throw in the towel. It's as if I'm waiting for the Preds, only with a few Preds in particular, in fact, to take me down, without even trying to put up a real fight. I mean, I pretend to fight but, in reality, I don't exercise my full power and, even though my enemy is not superior to me, I let myself be defeated by him in the end.

Psychologist: I see. And why do you think you feel this desire to be defeated by them?

Mighty Samson: (Sighs) Perhaps because... You see, Doctor. Although the humans don't know it, a Pred actually defeated me. As I lay motionless on the ground, helpless, an unexpected feeling came over me. I was ashamed of my defeat, humiliated by my enemy, I felt the fear of my imminent death... but I was also incredibly aroused...aroused as I had never been before. The more he humiliated me, the more excited I became. And when he began to devour me, the sensation became so overwhelming that it was hard to distinguish my cries of fear and despair from my moans of pleasure as I was mercilessly gulped inside him. For reasons that are too long to explain, I survived, but that sensation of pleasure that I felt in that situation of fear, shame and extreme humiliation .... I think it became an extremely addictive drug for me.

Psychologist: Well, Mr Samson. Although the fact that you are a superhero in the eyes of the community and a role model for the community complicates the situation, the physical and mental paraphilia you experience is more common and conventional than you think. Simply put, although I don't think it's quite right to say it in your case, you are a masochist.

Mighty Samson: Masochist?!? But, Doctor. That's... impossible! I can't enjoy my physical and mental suffering! I am a superhero! I cannot .... I must not be defeated!

Psychologist: But as you said yourself, you enjoy it. You want to be defeated, and you have even allowed yourself to be defeated, in order to get a tremendously pleasurable stimulation from extremely unpleasant stimuli. But I can treat you. But in the meantime...

Sam had always enjoyed a certain level of popularity. Despite being a skilled athlete, intelligent, and good-looking, he wasn't particularly adept socially. Although they had many romantic relationships (with both girls and boys), these tended to be short-lived. But one of them cut abruptly as Jenna Stacy vanished under mysterious circumstances. Alongside their frustration at the lack of progress in the police investigation, they felt something else inside, an urge that seemed to compel them to act. Finally, Sam uncovered an unexpected truth: the high school swim coach was responsible.

Confronting the coach, Sam discovered an astonishing revelation—his seemingly ordinary mentor was a Predator. Everyone believed they were an urban legend, a story to scare kids, a modern version of the bogeyman. But Sam, that night, discovered they were real. In an intense showdown, Sam faced off against the coach. Despite the coach's display of almost superhuman strength, Sam , a teenager aged only 16, emerged victorious.

For the next two years, Sam's live began to change. Though without a mentor to instruct him, Sam improved his combat abilities. His power and agility seemed to improve day by day, as the Preds he faced. The world that seemed so normal, logical, and relatively safe was not. The city, the state, the country...seemed to be filled with Preds like the coach, identical in their purpose, different in their methods. And soon Sam realized he was a magnet for all of them, though he also seemed to Sam also seemed to feel their proximity with a sense of unease and restlessness. Though they couldn't pinpoint its exact origin, they knew there was one nearby... and that it was their duty to hunt it down.

Soon, he discovered that anyone could be a Pred; classmates, teachers, mothers and fathers, grandfathers and grandmothers, shopkeepers, civil servants, police officers,.... any of them. And that those who were "human" as he discovered that there could also be non-humanoid Preds, lurking in the streets, in the sewers, in the parks, in the woods...The world was not a safe place at all.

So, on the day of his coming of age, during their high school graduation, he had to face several preds who not only wanted to eliminate the participants, but also targeted him. With great difficulty, he defeated them in front of all his classmates and family members. And he also discovered that he didn't belong to this time. He had come from the future, sent by their true parents... a future where the Preds had almost wiped out humanity. This also explained his strength and resilience, which exceeded that of normal humans. He was a human from the future, as the last preds he had faced.

So along with the shocking revelation to the public that the Preds were real came fame and recognition that there was a superior human being capable of standing up to them, the Mighty Samson. But eventualy, Samson himself underwent a revelation. The Preds he fought against grew increasingly powerful and cunning until finally, one of them managed to defeat him.

The pred did not kill him at first. It merely humiliated the man who pretended to be a great defender of mankind. And Samson found, to his surprise and embarrassment, that it turned him on erotically in a way he could not explain. And as the Pred devoured him, the arousal became unbearable, almost like a drug. The Pred nagged him, teased him. But Samson did not break, he seemed to enjoy his defeat and humiliation in a masochistic and morbid way.

Since then, Samson has continued to fight and defeat Preds throughout the Nexus. However, there are times when, although he will not admit it, he has been defeated and humiliated by some Preds... and in other cases, he has allowed himself to be defeated in order to be humiliated and devoured, and to once again feel that morbid pleasure that seems to affect him like a drug.
