In a ravaged valley, two ragged combatants stare each other down with a blend of fury and respect as their chests heave, desperate for rest after hours of relentless fighting. The Lucario pulls herself back into a battle stance, beckoning her opponent, an enraged Aggron, to attack. The Aggron lets out a roar and charges forward, rearing back a heavy fist and unleashing devastating blow after devastating blow, each aimed to turn the Lucario into a stain on the rubble walls of the valley. Though the strikes had great speed and power behind them, each powerful punch was for naught and merely added to the number of craters littering their battleground as the lithe Lucario deftly avoided them all before springing off the last thrown punch and landing a safe distance away. Reaching into a pouch around her neck, the Lucario unwrapped a small jewel, her last resort, the Mega Stone. Clutching the stone tightly, she allowed the energy of the Mega Stone to flow through her, creating a gleaming shell around her to allow her Aura to skyrocket and cause the mysterious Mega Evolution to transpire. The Aggron, desperate to prevent what would surely spell certain defeat for it, launched a hasty Hyper Beam at the transforming Lucario, blasting the shell to pieces and leaving a smoldering ring of ash upon the ground where she stood. Satisfied with this victory, the Aggron fell to the ground, exhausted and in need of a long Rest. Lucario was gone.
Well, Lucario was gone in a sense, but not dead. No, the energy of the Hyper Beam and the Mega Evolution's temporary spike in power mixed together in a freak miracle powered by the spike in her Aura that her Mega Evolution awarded her, and instead of blowing Lucario to smithereens, launched her through time and space, landing her in the middle a strange new forest.
Now you're probably wondering, "Why's she still Mega Lucario? Isn't it temporary?" She's still not sure what exactly happened, but her best guess is that when the shell of the Mega Evolution was destroyed, and by proxy the Mega Stone itself, the energy of the evolution had nothing to return to and, guided by the overpowering Aura that Lucario was generating during her trans-dimensional trip, latched onto the only thing available, the Lucario.
Deciding that if she was to live in this strange new world, she'd need a name for herself. She wanted a name that was a part of her, something that had a deep connection her soul. From this, she came to decide on the name Aura! Quickly, she slapped herself, that was too obvious and not... something enough!
If not Aura, she would be... Aurora. Yeah, that sounded perfect, and now, for a title... Aurora, The Guardian of Aura. Catchy, Intimidating, and Personal.

Aurora prefers not to fight, despite her inherent Fighting-type blood, preferring to counter her attackers as painlessly as possible. However, should that prove to be dangerous to bystanders, or countering proves futile, Aurora will defend herself with intense focus.
Aurora is a highly capable fighter, utilizing her immense Aura and control over it in a variety of ways. She can fire off rough bursts of Aura with explosive results, solidify her Aura for a strong shield, use it to augment her speed and strength in short bursts, locating others around her through their Aura, and even turn Aura based moves back on their owner with a few exceptions. Using her impressive control, she can create solid weapons, and as a last resort she can focus her Aura into an incredible dense blasting beam. Utilizing her Aura as blunt force weapons is Aurora's favorite method of offensive combat.
