The dire need to know! Background and what have you!

Tharja is a dark mage who hails from Plegia, throughout her journey through the land she never once cared about politics making it rather easy for her to switch sides, if someone is nice enough to show her some gratitude or even act as a friend her ways can be swayed. Well that is, unless she absolutely hates you. (More on that in a minute!)

Setting wise she is going to be set in a more dark ages or fantasy setting. Time with magic, warriors, and dragons. Ya know, fun stuff like that. For the most part that covers her background, or at least what is dire to know. If you have any other questions about the lore of the series let me know! If not we move on to personality!

Dark Mage for the Ages

As stated Tharja is a Dark Mage, and no she is not out for world domination or anything like that...well that you know of. Though she is not one to talk with others, she does not get along with many people and for the most part she lurks in the shadows and does her own thing. She is well adapt in magic, from conjuring fire, to hexes, to even help cure a cold. See, she isn't all bad? Well not all the time at least. That being said she tends to have dark thoughts most of the time and is not afraid to speak out on them, be it to herself or simply telling someone when they anger her. She is not someone you want to cross and she it is not very easy to get close to her either.

If you do manage to win her heart (and it's not easy) you may find yourself walking down an unstable path. But first you may be asking how does someone win the heart of someone this...sadistic. Well it's not that hard. Tharja likes kind people who are caring and sweet. She recognizes those who put their life on the lines for others and sees it as noble. She is not someone would ever fall for a jerk or cliche lines. She is looking for someone genuine. For a minute let us pretend she does fall for you. She will start stalking you and things may get very weird quickly. She will make sure you only have eyes for her and she will go out of her way to make sure you don't look at anyone else, and if she spots you with someone else, or you stop loving her...let's just say it will not end well.

To call her a little mad, well that is an understatement. She even has been known to altar her personality for one she considers her love. As stated she will do anything to be with her love, keep that in mind, ANYTHING! If you are thinking...she might be a Yandere...well you are on the right track!

Tomes, Tomes, and more Tomes!

As stated Tharja knows some magic, rumor has it she was studying the dark arts from the second she was born. Alongside with the basic magic (Elemental spells, hexes, etc...) she is also able to see the future and even speak to the dead, though when she speaks to the dead she has to use her own body as the medium. Also it should be noted, she can not put hexes on people if she does not know the person's name. On a more uplifting note she has used her magic to help people before, or so she claims. She has told many before she can cure mental illness such as phobias or the sort. But the question still remains how does she do this? Brainwashing or perhaps something far worse?

And now it should be noted the player is into Micro/Macro! So what this means is Tharja has the ability to shrink others down or even make herself grow. It's much more common for her to shrink someone down. Though when this happens a multitude of things can happen, from using the person as a living voodoo doll, to making them a snack, or simply stepping on them underfoot, or even more humiliating things! (More on that in a moment!) Very rarely will she actually grow to great heights, mostly because of all the power it consumes, that and all the attention she begins to receive. Though if the situation calls for it, of course she will grow to skyscraper heights and desolate the enemy.

To put it simply. Tharja is a dark mage with very dark ideals, deep down she has a decent heart and simply wants to be with someone she loves! Is that you? Or are you simply just a friend or foe?
