More and more of her time was devoted to learning how to be a proper queen and wife to her suitor, and she hated this because it felt more akin to torture than learning. Thaliah was often told by her mother that her actions would be best for her family and for the kingdom and that she should be proud to have such an honor...but this was so far from how she saw it. She felt void of any control of her life, and more like just some tool to better her family. No, she wanted to do what her heart sought, and it wasnt aging away shackled to some man she didnt love.
