In an alternate reality, one where Hitler never existed, the Soviet Union didn't collapse under its own weight, but instead, continued to grow, and grow! Stalin became the replacement for Hitler as Europe began to turn more and more red.

As the Nazis had, the Soviet also had units dedicated to the strange and the paranormal, or in this case, more about the strange. An attempt to create super soldiers instead lead to a different result, being that they brought their own buildings to life!

At first, they ended up accidentally turning their Construction Yard into a large, motherly figure, who continued to build her "daughters" on her own and tended to ignore orders. Granted, her daughters were far more mobile and efficient...when the would listen that is, as each one was the mental equivalent of a five year old.

Finding it a bit...embarrassing that their power plants and flame towers were more interested in jump rope than combat, the Soviets abandoned the project, leaving the Construction Yard mother and her children to live one their own, though they still remain loyal to Mother Russia, and will defend her from those filthy Allies to the end.

As for Tessie, she's what's know as a Tesla Coil, an advanced turret defense system that uses electricity to roast attackers. For Tessie, she has been programmed to assume any and all male advances are Allied soldiers, and thus, her enemy, unless they can provide the Soviet password.

Personality-wise, she is quite the sweet, curious little one, though she is prone to excitability, which causes power outages considering the massive electrical draw her body causes, but anyway, that's what PowerPlant-Chan is for!
