The rogue from Urden'Thar. Literally translated to 'Under the Stone', Urden'Thar is a city sprawling from the mountainside. What started as a dwarven merchant city rapidly became a large metropolis due in part to its ideal location at the border between three nations. The mountain ridge to which it belongs cuts across the borders of two countries, with a third to the south. The hub itself is now merely a protectorate of the Dwarven Kingdom beneath the world, lorded by the Council. At its heart was to divide power, in order for multiple people and view points to be represented. Unfortunately, vast wealth brought with it polarizing ideals, corruption and inequality. As a result of such situations, the Council is largely run by moguls heading vast cartels and merchant families, each vying for political power in order to bolster themselves.
Teharissa, or Teha, is not one of them. Her kind has lived on and within the mountains for even longer than the dwarves. Unrelated to the Drow and their own corruption of the boundaries biological reality, how her race got its start is both unknown and irrelevant. Due to the harshness of the terrain and associated beasts, her kind had forged hearty bodies and durable frames. Their seemingly elven heritage has given them plentiful lifespans, unlike the arachnids they spawned from. Despite their longevity, they also remain largely scarce due to a solitary lifestyle. In this respect, Teha is ambivalent towards the rest of her kind, but she enjoys living among the other common races, as they have goods and services to procure.
Teha operates a den in the underground portion of the city. Not necessarily a ghetto, but a place where both the savory and unsavory alike can mingle. She is an information broker, extractor, gossiper (sometimes of misinformation), and sometimes a bounty hunter. She is the proprietor and sole employee of her business, but she promises to get the job done! Unless someone else pays her more.
Teha's clan, though solitary, has evolved through a long and secretive lineage. She currently stands at around 10'11". It is hard to measure! Like many spiders, she possesses eight limbs, including her arms. Her fuzzy nature is an adaptation to her hometown in the mountains. It also provides a softer exterior to her harder carapace. She is capable of climbing walls and producing web, though her general use of web is more akin to a funnel web spider. She can produce individual strands that can support her weight, and wrap prey, but not enough to make a web she can walk on easily.
Her canines are elongated, and she can produce a mild venom. If left untreated, it will form necrosis from the injection point. Like many spiders, she does not like to eat solid foods all the time, and prefers thick soups, stews and even curries.
