Kayla Graves had been one of the best wilderness guides in the Amazon, so it was no surprise when a group of foreign treasure-hunters
sought out her services to guide them to the supposed location of an ancient temple. It was odd that they insisted she agree to carry
what looked like some sort of elephant gun, but the bonus on top of her usual fee was more than enough to convince her.

After six days of trekking, they found the temple alright, complete with its resident ancient guardian - a giant naga! The treasure-
hunters were prepared though, and they knew the guardian's only weakness - an extremely rare and very specific material. They also
knew that any who slew the giant naga would fall victim to its curse - hence the need to bring along a willing sap to deliver the final
blow. After a brief but vicious fight, they called for Kayla to take her shot with the weapon, and then everything changed.

As it turned out, the naga's curse was not that one would be stricken dead, plagued by misfortune, or some other weird torment.
Rather, whoever slew the naga would instead be cursed to take not only its place but also its form, and so Kayla found her body
twisting and growing, her legs replaced by a long, serpentine tail as she grew and grew.

The treasure-hunters had prepared well, but not well enough for this. Before Kayla even realized what she was doing, she had
devoured them all whole, feeling them squirm all the way down and for quite a while after. Soon she was alone deep in the jungle,
trapped by the same magics which had bound the original guardian to this place.

Kayla's life would never be the same, but this new existence did have its perks, among them immortality. In time Kayla was even
able to cheat the magic for periods of time, allowing her to roam the land once more.
