Tatsumi is a young man who ever since he was a child was trained in the way of the sword, trained to be a knight. He was someone who excelled in swordmanship, being able to take on some of the most experianced of knights and even A+ Ranked monsters at only the age of 15. By the age of 18 he was someone who'd already been accepted to be a Royal Knight in the kingdom he served. but due to his power, he was given the title "Lord Knight". However, being as deep in as he was to the kingdom, he learned of the dark side it had, The kingdom at it's core was nothing but corruption where the nobles and higher ups turned a blind eye to everyone below them for money. Even the other Royal Knights didn't care what happened to the people, they only wanted power at the end of the day and would do whatever they could to obtain it. Tatsumi couldn't just stand by and watch the kingdom he served for so long ruin more lives, as such, he left it.

After his departure from the kingdom, he became a wandering traveller, searching out places of which he can be of help to people in whatever way he can. Despite knowing that being too kind is a flaw, he continued to trust people on his travels, only to be betrayed and flung into a portral, where it sent him was none other than the Nexus. While being insanely confused at first, he quickly began to learn of this new land where people at others, sometimes to survive, but most of the time for fun. It was odd but he never really dug much deeper into it, he was just thankful that a lot of the time they just waned to eat women. Either way, he continued to help people out when needed, on the condition that they don't make food of him.

Personality
Tatsumi is generally a kind man who treats other with respect, he's not someone to quickly judge somebody else unless he's seen them do bad to another, or unless it becomes clear they see him as food. He kinds it difficult to socalize with other guys, and rather prefers female company. He'll often pay them compliments and borderline flirt with them, depending on if he likes how they look. What? Everyone judges others to an extent.

If he gets ito a scenario when a girl actually likes him he can be someone who's shy and easily trips over his worlds, often leading to some really awkward situations. Recently after being around his wife, Sayuri, he's grown more confident and less of a wreck, he can still be somewhat shy around girls he doesn't know however.
