Current Form: One
If one were to look up for a moment, at the right place and time, they would see the towering, gargantuan form of an aqua-colored reptilian goddess looming far above them, her scales shimmering radiantly in the sunlight as she took her first steps towards the crowds of screaming mortals. She would more than likely be the doom of them all, if they weren't smart enough to fall down to their knees and worship her.
Personality
Summary: Tao-Kuan is a gluttonous, condescending goddess who enjoys devouring pretty much anything from food to living beings, considering them all to be sacrifices to her greatness. But she isn't quite evil. She's more along the lines of big-headed. She's a matron goddess and governs over general fertility of body and soul along with that of the earth, as well as health.
Tao-Kuan is a goddess in every sense of the word, and a gluttonous one, generally only gracing her perfect (In her eyes) form among the peons of the world to have her fill in the wide variety of tasty morsels strewn about at her scaled feet.
She’s a condescending creature, and enjoys challenging herself from time to time to see just how much of the world she could devour, if not the whole earth at once. Maybe even the entire galaxy.
Being a goddess of many things is no easy job. First and foremost, Tao-Kuan is a matron goddess; governing over fertility of body, mind, spirit and earth itself. This includes the health of the body and mind. But being a goddess of fertility is only part of her job. Even though she does have her fair share of responsibility, this reptilian goddess tends to laze about and do things at her own leisurely pace.
Being a goddess of earthly fertility, she indulges in the fruits of her so-called labor and enjoys sampling all sorts of foods, from the more conventional nourishment that rises from the soil, to the flesh of the humans that plant it. She considers them all to be sacrifices to her greatness whether they are willing or not.
Tao-Kuan openly accepts any form of worship, thoroughly enjoying such attention. And occasionally she'll even grace the people of earth with her presence, generally at a titanic size. However it is more common for her to change forms when she walks among mortals, lurking in the shadows as an aqua-colored monitor lizard and occasionally even taking the form of a mere woman to indulge in the simple life of mortals.
Unique Traits:
Tao-Kuan has no neck bone in her lizard-goddess form, and has the ability to unhinge her jaw. Thusly, the size of her meals can scale to minuscule to the same size as her. Though she prefers her prey to be a bit smaller. Generally the largest she will willingly go is someone that stands to about her waist.
Tao-Kuan's Shangri-La:
When not on earth, Tao-Kuan inhabits her own personal paradise. She completely controls the environment, down to the length of each and every blade of grass. The look of the environment shifts and changes depending on her mood and what she wishes to be around. She can also make anything she wishes sprout up from the earth around her. All that limits her is her imagination when it comes to her Shangri-La, and her imagination is quite vast. The most basic look of her Shangri-La is rolling green mountains and fields of lush grass, dotted with jasmine. Even though she can make her Shangri-La as big as she wants to, she tends to stay rather large in comparison to it. She even erected a temple of worship in her paradise, for the few that find their way inside. But know this; Unless you are specifically pulled into this paradise, it's near impossible to find. And it's even more difficult to find your way out.
Current Captives:
PepperMouse - After devouring his wife and forcing him to watch, Tao-Kuan trapped the fibbing kangaroo rat inside of the Eye of Shangri-La as a punishment for claiming to be a god.
Rori_Watches - After failing to properly worship Tao-Kuan's greatness, Rori was turned into a very, very tiny clay statue.
Appearances:
Tao-Kuan has many forms, some of them elaborate and godly and others that are more... simplistic.
Form One:
Tao-Kuan's preferred form. Reptilian with aqua-blue scales and full-figured with sparse gold bangles and nipple rings. Her hair is pulled back into a high amazonian-ponytail held up by gold rings in this form and flows down to just above her rear end.
Form Two:
This is her most powerful form, most akin to her true power as a goddess. A curvaceous reptilian woman as usual, though her scales seem to shimmer and glow more, similar to jewels. Her eyes flush out and turn white, glowing incredibly bright. She gains four more arms that are all adorn with tons of golden bangles and jewels, rings, and things of that ilk. Get hair stays in the same general style, though the gold rings change and there are more of them. The rings are encrusted with rubies and sapphires, and her hair flows down to her feet. She also wears a dangling golden jewel encrusted belt in the form with sheer silk that drapes down to her shins.
Form three:
Her basic humanoid goddess form. She still has the same figured; full bosomed, thick thighed and wide hipped. Instead of scales, she has dark caramel colors skin and white hair that's the same length and style as in her basic reptilian form. She wears aqua-blue silks in this form, and hand gold piercings that chain from her nose to numerous ones on her ears.
Form Four:
This form is an evolution of the third one, just as the second is an evolution of the first. She gains two arms, her eyes flush out and glow white, and her hair flows down to her feet. Generally, this means more jewelry as well considering there are four more arms to decorate. In her humanoid forms, the clothing remains consistent.
Earthly Forms:
Her earthly forms range from anything unsightly and grotesque to moderately attractive, but not anything that particularly stands out. She changes it every time she touches the earth's surface as to not be recognized by the mortals she comes in contact with, wishing not to form any sort of constant relationship. Sometimes, she even disposes of the mortals that she comes in contact with. It all depends on what happened while she was on earth. Honestly, what form she takes all depends on the reason that she's come to the earth.
Her last form is her lurking form which she visits earth in. A simple monitor lizard with bluish-green scales that seems to be fickle and have quite the temper but shows no real sign of being anything more than a common animal. Certainly not a goddess, of all things.
Unique Accessories/Trinkets:
Tao-Kuan is quite the collector and creator of interesting trinkets and things of the like. This is a listing of things that she has created, traded or found.
The Eye of Shangri-La: To most, this would look like a simple large blue diamond, if incredibly impressive. It hangs from her right nipple on a gold chain. In reality, it's a holding cell. A crystal cage of sorts that she traps prey in on occasion.
The Treasure of Tao-Kuan Chuang: An impressive chamber full of jewels and gold resides inside of Tao-Kuan's temple. It consists of all of the offerings that had been given to the goddess over time. The amount that all of the treasure in the chamber is worth is beyond the wildest dreams of any man. But at what price would a single gold piece come?
