A simple girl living a simple life. That would be the best way to describe Tanaka's life, who was originally raised in Japan but came over to the United States thanks to some historical backgrounds that were found dating back to the 1930's. Long story short, a World War Two American GI who fought in the pacific theatre, got pregnant a Japanese woman and had a child, to which SHE had a child which is Tanaka.

Once found out, she decided to visit her American relatives, and was quite shocked at just how different things are in the United States, especially that of the rural farm lands that her grandfather had owned for generations. Armed with a degree from a college from her hometown, she decided to put that away for now in order to live and toil her hands, and that she did, to where she became that of a hard working yet humble young woman at the age of 22.

It's not to say she's always been in the sticks, she's travelled through the city, even had lived there a few months, but found it was far to complicated and that she wanted to get away from it all to come back to that small town goodness where everyones hospitable and not being seen as a 'walking piece of meat' or 'just a statistic'. The nexus can be quite... an interesting place, one that takes a special breed to handle, and Tanaka seems to be up to that task! Well... if she can stop fawning over certain predators that is...
