She wasn't anything special, really... Just a member of the royal guard. She was one of the middleweights, there. Of course, considering that the royal guard was supposedly the best of the best, that's saying something. She... was not that good, really. Oh sure, she has her skills, but she's not a very good fighter at all. She's too...clumsy.

That's right. A clumsy elf.

No one really knows WHY she's like that, but she cannot fight in the typical, graceful elven manner. She has to fight, in fact, like a human!

Of course, she's still fairly graceful, all told, but in a much more human way. More like a human thief than an elven warrior. She makes up for it in some respects, though. For one, well, she's cute! Many human opponents are hesitant to strike her, if she's fighting them. Up until, of course, she nails them in the groin, and by then its too late. She's well aware of her flaws, and more than willing to compensate for them by fighting dirty.

And she DOES fight dirty. She's got a fair few hidden tricks up her sleeves, and in her boots, and in the bottom of her quiver. Her wrist-mounted crossbow isn't particularly deadly, really... at least, not against armored opponents. So, she makes up for it... coating her arrowheads in poison, and taking advantage of any weak spots. She'll dart around behind an armored opponent, and kick them in the back to knock them over if she can, or even shoot them in the arse!

Her blade, too, is not terribly deadly.... at least, not compared to a sword in a human's hands. It's perfectly lethal in her hands, though, if she can get the drop on you or get inside your guard. See again, about cuteness as a weapon.

But this is giving the wrong impression. She doesn't LIKE to fight! In fact, fighting freaks her out! When she fights, she starts to panic, and freak out.... and after a certain point, she'l just do anything to STOP the fighting! Even, at some points, fleeing and hiding in a safe place. She is, in truth, a wee bit of a coward... she'd rather be left alone, and leave others alone.

This.... didn't work so well when her kingdom fell. She was away, on an errand for the princess, and...well, she's the sole survivor. Armed with her weapons, and what supplies she had left, not to mention a small sack full of gems and coins for expenses, she's suddenly stranded, with no idea where to go... and well, we'll see where she winds up.
