Talkor

Arachnophobia can be a really terrible thing, especially when face to face by what appears to be a gigantic spider with the upper body of a humanoid. With eight long black legs covered in thick spider hairs, connected to a matching colored large arachnid-like abdomen that could easily hold two entire humans inside, it would be pretty understandable for someone to feel a bit nervous around Talkor. The male drider has a fairly tan complexion, though with a large, black, hulking spider-like body that could best be described as the appearance of a gargantuan black widow, and even without the extra features, could easily raise up to six feet. Despite not actually being female, he doesn't seem to be as small as most male black widows would be as regular spiders, which he takes much pride in. With all the extra legs and mass however, Talkor stands at about nine feet in height, and is prone to seeing smaller creatures as little more than prey.

Being raised in a large family is never easy; especially when said family has around ten members, and only one of those ten is an actual parent. Being part of a race that's been known to cannibalize also wasn't the easiest thing to grow up with, and Talkor watched at least three of his two siblings be ingested, and even ate the fourth one himself. That was how things worked back at home though, so it didn't seem abnormal. When families got too large, the siblings would break off into groups of two, pair up with someone from the opposite group, and duel to see who got to live and who got to support the others' life. This 'ceremony' usually happened when the tenth child reached at least eight years old, so that the winners would at least be old enough to survive on her own. Barely managing his victory, Talkor and his other remaining siblings quietly left their home, never to return again. Over the years of growing up and hunting on their own, the four of them finally split off on their own ways, and Talkor eventually managed to grow enough to try to seek out a more permanent home.

Talkor isn't exactly the nicest drider out there, and will occasionally try to bully his meals until they fall into a fit of tears before finally trying to eat them. Having fangs that are fully capable of both drinking blood and injecting venom, he can be quite dangerous to anything that isn't thick enough to stop the sharp fangs from digging in. Although it's fun to try to snag someone, ensnare them in webbing, drink some of their precious blood, and finally get to swallowing them, he doesn't always rely on the same strategy. In case the meal is too strong for simple webbing, he has two types of venoms to try to use on prey. One is more of a numbing venom, to help keep them nice and still if it can get into the prey's bloodstream, while the second venom is a bit more magical. If injected into someone, it will slowly alter their DNA by small amounts until the prey actually begins to shrink, in case the food is way too big, or he just feels like bullying something a lot smaller than he is, which he does do on occasion. Despite his gruff exterior, he does have a soft side, though it can be rather difficult to reach it and get past his gruff exterior, and cavernous stomach. He's borderline bisexual, so it doesn't really matter to him what prey goes where, and occasionally he's tried to get prey inside of him in other ways, though that's usually only the case when he likes someone enough to get into a special mood.
