She actually WORKED to get that right, dammit. It took her a while to make it happen just right!

Backing up a bit... as you can probably guess by who plays the character, this girl isn't normal. Mind, the purple hair might be a giveaway, but that likely depends a bit on where you live, on any world across the multiverse.

And there's the thing. RIGHT THERE, plain as day, big as life, and in your face. She's not from around here, Talindra isn't. She's taken a liking to this world, though, and so she's moved in. However... Well, not being from earth, does she even count as human?

The answer to that is 'Probably not'. However, she does know a thing or two.... such as that her kind and humans can reproduce together. One of her cousins, after all, married a human. It makes for some interesting conversation, at times, but that's unimportant, and I'm rambling.

Talindra, as it happens, is a girl from another world. Well, not quite a girl, but the rest stands. She's perfectly normal for where she's from, save, perhaps, for her social standing. Everything else is pretty average. She can pass for human before all but the most invasive of searches, at least as far as appearance. The only real oddity to her is her navel, and you'd not notice that unless you stuffed your finger right into it. Rude, yeah? She's certainly inclined to think so. Mind, her gender's a bit odd, too, but she doesn't need to fuss with that too much.

You see, her species is a race of shapeshifters. Every last one of them can mold and shape their body to a fairly impressive degree, depending on what substrain they are. Mages, for example, can do some pretty odd things, like turning into living fire, while others may not be able to do more than give themselves little add-ons here and there. Most of their society revolves around their shapeshifting ability, in some way or another. If nothing else, it means none of them are going to mistake anyone's identity. Most of the time, anyway. There's always someone who has to go and make trouble by pretending to be someone else.

Talindra, though. Talindra's NOT at home. She's here, on Earth, when she's not wandering elsewhere. Why? Well, why not? It's fairly safe here(especially with her abilities), there's all sorts of things to do and enjoy that aren't available back home, and, perhaps most importantly, no one gives half a damn about who she really is, or what her rank is. Human society, by and large, has evolved past clearly defined ranks, even if they DO still have social tiers.

Talindra's pretty average, overall. Or, she seems to be, anyway. She's only five and a half feet tall, with the slim figure and purple hair that you can clearly see in her art. She's passing herself off as a sixteen year old high-school student, simply because she doesn't want people to take her too seriously, and she's quite pleased with how things are working out for now. Of course, there are rumors about her, at school.... rumors regarding her arrival and certain odd happenings. Who knows what the truth is, though?

In her free time(read, most of the time), Talindra's often off exploring the universe. Wandering across dimensions on a whim, because she can, to see what there is to see, and do what there is to do. Her home, managed by a local friend of her family, is stuffed full of odd souvenirs, if one looks in the right places, and her head is stuffed full of tales of her misadventures, as well. It's made for an interesting, cheerful, somewhat quirky personality... and her exposure to the vore fetish, thanks to the internet, has given her ideas for interesting new things to try. So, here she is, eager to begin.
