Note of importance: Tacitus is an Apex predator. I have no interest in seeing him as anything but. Nor do I care to see him lose in a fight, regardless of your opinion on him or the Legion. Ignoring these notes will maake me just ignore you.
Praetorian Centurion Tacitus, or his real name Garrett Navage, is a legionary in Caesar's Legion. Also known as "The Black Ghost", this veteran has been with the Legion since it first formed. Much of his life is unknown, kept a secret to the plebs and other legionaries, but if one thing is known, is that to fear the ghost. Leading of 83 legionaries of his own, his Centuria, "The Black Legion" operates seperately from the main forces. Instead of frontline assaults, they focus on more specialized tasks, like sabotage, destructions of key installations, assassination, elimination of specific enemy groups and more. Due to their work and rank, these Legionaries are far better equipped and usually wear black armor instead. Unlike the rest of the Legion, his divison is allowed to use more advanced weapons and gear, ranging from laser and plasma weapons to stealth boys and radios. They employ phalanxes, using Pre-War Riot Shields to create bulletproof walls and mobile cover to advance. When the Black Legion is in the area, it makes even the Brotherhood of Steel pause. Tacitus himself though is a peculiar man. Though often straightforward and focused, he doesn't carry the same sentiments that the Legion has about outsiders and the NCR. Nor does he completely have the same views and beliefs as The Legion, or its esteemed leader Caesar. Because of this he doesn't talk much, keeping to himself and focused on the task at hand. What is know is his skills and prowess in battle. Be it fist, sword, or firearm, Tacitus is proficient in all forms of combat. Rumor has it that he once defeated a deathclaw barehanded. Apart from that, he earned his named 'Tacitus' thanks to his tactical mind when leading his troops in battle. Relations: Sierra- His daughter Aniniggii_Maii- His 'It's complicated' Lover Weapons: Customized M1903 Springfield Rifle- Originally just a military surplus, Tacitus turned it's rifle into a dual purpose weapon. Creating his own semi-automatic bolt based off the of the Pederson device, this rifle can shoot both .30-06 or 32 ACP with a mere bolt swap. In the bolt action configuration, it shoots .30-06 for long range performance and power, while the semi automatic bolt allows for a quicker, faster rifle fed from a 40 round magazine. This feature allows the weapon to be quite versatile and useful for most situations. Plasma Defender- Acting as Tacitus' side arm, his Plasma Defender has been altered for better performance. Faster firing and now with a charge function, one shot alone can punch through basic combat armor while a fully charged shot can melt down T-51b power armor. When bullets won't do the trick, plasma will. Machete Gladius- His bread and Butter, this simple yet effective weapon was built with Saturnite and sharpened down to the molecular level. This makes the edge capable of piercing ceramic and plate armor easily. Wrist Flamethrower- Integrated into the right arm of the T-45b power armor, this weapon is sends out a blast of flame to anything foolish enough to get close. Best of all, it's a napalm substance, so it'll stick and burn for a long time. Grenades and Flashbangs- The normal assortment of explosives. Carrying fragmentation, plasma, pulse, and stun grenades, Tacitus has a grenade for every occasion. Equipment: Personalized Armor- An amalgamation of different armors from fallen enemies, it has been refined over the years to be an exceptional suit of armor. An nigh near invulnerable right arm from a T-45b suit, ballistic chest armor from NCR Rangers, Metal feet guads from a defeated tribe, and leather under layer built from various bandits, this armor tells quite the tale while still being effective. Slave collar and detonator- Helpful little devices for captives, these deliver a fatal explosion into the victim's neck if they don't behave, instantly decapitating them. Great for the whole family.
