Taberu is a nine-tailed fox spirit tasked with maintaining the order between the spirit and natural worlds, once serving as both judge, jury, and executioner in these affairs. But now, the kitsune has retired. Taberu uses her command over lighting to swiftly detain transgressors, or use her blade to defend herself. Unfortunately for her, the exciting part of her job is only a tiny fraction of what mostly amounts to just waiting around. Hence, she’s taken up wandering as her new hobby, traveling to new locales to keep things interesting.

While the kitsune might behave herself initially, it isn’t long before her hedonism or mischievous side begin to emerge. This can range from harmless pranks or games played with good company, to “detaining” someone for treating her or other people around them poorly. Once her mischievous streak dies off, it’s common to see her practicing one of her hobbies or picking up a new one from one of her companions. Out of all of them though, she seems to practice her blade work diligently, making sure she’s prepared to deal with a threat at a moment’s notice

Disposable_Lelith made for an excellent snack, helping Taberu ascend to goddesshood as a fertility deity after being churned down into slush and food for Taberu’s body.
