Sylphae





He has often been called Sylphae, though few eyes have happened upon his physical form. Certain druidic circles have labeled him a shadow dryad, but other sorcerers and seers have surmised that he is a Cosmic Elemental of sorts; bound not only to earth, fire, wind, and water - but also to the very threads of space and time.

Sylphae sometimes appears in order to collect samples of plant and animal life from various forests, mountains, or other terrain. This occasionally includes the collection of living human/humanoid samples. Sylphae's work is an esoteric alchemy and what he is doing in a physical body remains an enigma. His experiments have something to do with the duality of the physical and energetic aspects of existence - though few people catch a glimpse of his devoted work.

But those who've had a chance to spend some time around Sylphae quickly discover that there is substance beyond the shadows of his arcane projects. He likes to play just as much as he likes to work, but even more so he delights in the realm where the two merge.

Sylphae is generally found in one of two forms:

His first form resembles a sleek Elven male. In this form he has long silver hair with several bound braids, and varying tribal markings on his face. An Elf-like curiosity and wanderlust often simmer within his amber eyes. He also wears eccentric robes covered in arcane glyphs and carries a quartz and gemstone wand.




His second form is more demonic in appearance and his hair is a fiery golden. His eyes become a haunting indigo and his form can waver in and out of a shadowy ectoplasm which can consume and titillate flesh and energy within a vibrational vortex.


Though Sylphae is not always on the physical plane, he does reputedly inhabit a strange Tree called the World Tree (Or Xibalba). Some people think it may have been the original Tree of Life, others believe that it connects various elements and dimensions, both inviting and terrifying.
