Appearance
Syd is big in all senses of the word. Tall, thickset, and fluffy, he's hard not to notice. His sense of style only serves to make him stand out further. He tends to dress in worn out jeans or cargo pants, boots, a (usually ill-fitting) graphic or band t-shirt, and a wallet chain. His hair is naturally the same black as the rest of his fur, but he dyes the tips of it a different color (exactly which color that is always changes, though purple and green are favorites) to add some variety to his monochrome coat.

Personality
An extrovert by nature, Syd spends most of his free time out socializing either out at bars or home with friends. He's outgoing, goofy, and irreverent, cracking jokes at every opportunity, but perfectly willing to have serious discourse or debate for the right topics. He finds it easy to strike up a conversation and keep the momentum going long enough to make an acquaintance or just lull someone into a false sense of security before cramming them down his throat.

Syd's tastes are ecclectic, making him happy to discuss a variety of topics, but his favorites are music and video games. Get him talking about Rancid or Megaman and he'll never shut up. Equally at home in the pit at a show or manning an arcade cabinet, he's as good at slam dancing and skankin' as he is at throwing hadokens.

Eating Habits (the reason you're here!)
There's one problem that's plagued Syd for as long as he can remember: his appetite. He'll start to complain about hunger pains a mere two or so hours after a meal. It got to be so time and money-consuming to prepare so much food that Syd decided to do things a little more naturally and catch his own dinner. Why eat near-constantly when you can have one big meal and digest it over the course of the day?

He took to his new predatory lifestyle quickly and got pretty good at singling weaker targets out to lure away from the group and gulp down. Though he'd never admit it to anyone other than his prey, there is another motive behind his diet. Put simply, swallowing attractive guys and feeling them wriggle around inside really turns him on. Maybe it's the dominance, maybe it's the intimate contact, or maybe there's just some faulty wiring in his brain. He'd rather just enjoy that sexual high than question it. Once he's full, he tends to retreat somewhere comfortable and settle down to play video games or watch TV...usually after he jerks off against his writhing paunch.
