Swartzgold

The light footsteps of a large creature are making their way through the darkness. They are audible steps, but you can’t see the creature that creates them. A soft breath, a rumbling growl, slight hiss….all these sounds travel through the night, but you can’t find their maker. A twig snaps and you turn to stay into cold blue eyes. You can make out that the beast is much larger than you, and the horse you were riding. You don’t get much time to see though before a loud snap fills your ears and a wet warmth envelopes your upper body.

Length: From head to tail he’s around 21 feet, 8 of which make up his tail.
Scale Color: Black. Pure ebony.

Swartzgold is a male dragon that has been haunting many lands for decades now. His black scales and unrelenting appetite make him a dangerous creature to have near a town, village and camp. He’s even managed to sneak into fortresses and snatch drunk prey or foolish guards that fell asleep at their post. He avoids eating clothes, armor and the like. His stomach can digest it all just fine, but it leaves for…odd digestive problems.
Swartzgold is not the dragon’s name; it was the title given to him by the bounty office to anyone who could bring in the dragon’s head. He’s left many towns with sleepless nights waiting for his arrival. He’s known for silently pulling people from their homes and devouring them at his leisure. In one town he barged into a tavern and devoured a score of people before finally departing the town. Despite his size, it’s not hard for him to get into many places he might find food. He’s able to compress his body, though that slows his movement, and snatch an elusive prey from its hiding spot. No matter how cozy and safe a home may seem to be….it won’t stop this dragon from pulling you out of it to savor your body as his dinner.
His dark scales and ability to see in the dark make him primarily a nocturnal hunter, but if you stumble in the caves, swamp or field that he using as a resting ground then daylight or not…you’re fair game. However, he doesn’t always just eat his prey. If he’s so inclined or if he’s just not hungry, he can store his prey in a sac in his esophagus. This sac is used for storing food to bring to a mate or dragonlings, but Swartz uses it to take his prey to a calm and quiet spot where he may enjoy them as a meal or as a plaything. He may be a dragon, but he has desires like all other animals and lust is one that can’t be ignored. True, he doesn’t do this as much as some mammals…but he’s not about to pass up a good opportunity.
He has a long row of white and yellow teeth, all sharp and ready to tear flesh to shreds. His tongue is forked and can slide out the as far as three feet from his lips. He’ll use his tongue pull his prey into his maw and savor their flavor as they slide deeper into his gullet. Though his teeth are sharp, he prefers to swallow his prey unharmed since pain can make a creature panic and piss itself and fight. Plus, he enjoys the feeling a full body sliding into his gullet…it’s just more satisfying to him. He also does tend to enjoy teasing his prey with his soft and warm tongue, but sometimes food takes precedence over pleasure.
The dragon’s prey, once caught, is never seen again…and those that are seen again are usually brought back by their own devices and nothing to do with Swartz. Rumor has it he’s been killed before and the bounty collected, but still the dragon remains to torment villages and towns alike. Perhaps, there is more than one of the dreaded dragons.

OOC Remarks: This dragon is not picky about what he’s going to eat, however he is known to avoid creatures that throw themselves at him. Instincts tell you to avoid prey like this as there is usually something wrong with him. I don’t mind willing prey, but don’t just run up to me and throw yourself before me…takes a little of the fun away you know. Let me hunt and have my fun and I’ll make sure you have yours. Also, I don’t mind doing a little combat RP. If you want to try and slay the dragon…well…let’s have fun with it.
I eat male or female with a preference for sweet and slender females. The healthier the better for me. I do sexual play but it’s not required for an RP and I have no problem avoiding sexual play if you like.

I don’t take pets, so please don’t offer. My intelligence is to that of a clever hunter, I’m not like most sentient dragons.

I can eat prey of any age; however, anything under 18 will only garner a quick gulp and no teasing or sexual play. I see nothing wrong with eating children, but I will not be sexual with them. No exceptions. ((Note, if you have a child character that is made for and openly states it has sexual relations I will just say no.))

It's not common, but it's not impossible for me to wind up being prey to something that is just a better pred then myself. Though don't think for a second I won't slurp down some naga like a noodle. :P
