A fan character from the little-known Square Enix (Squaresoft at the time) RPG, Live A Live. Yet another male addition to the ZergAlts fan character roster, I know. I promise I'll put a lid on it if I ever come around to making Kirito from Sword Art Online. Christ, I'm as bad as United_Knights. A word of warning; unlike Li_Kuugo before him, Sundown's profile here comes with spoilers regarding himself. If you want to take a look at Live A Live for yourself, I recommend playing his chapter first before reading.

As you can see, Sundown keeps himself covered largely by a dusty, brown-orange poncho and a nice hat; standard for badass cowboys. Underneath, I'm not sure how to describe it since you don't get to see all that often on his sprite in-game. But yeah, you would figure he'd need a bandolier of bullets to keep his guns loaded considering how often he uses them. As for some form of cigarette or cigar, the verdict's still out on that. Technically, they appeared in-game as healing items, but I doubt he's a chronic smoker.

As for personality, Sundown prefers to work alone. While he does protect the innocent, he is, in a way, seeking his own death. In the story of the game, he places a bounty on his own head in hopes that someone would kill him. The reason is that his reputation for being the fastest arm in the west earned him the ire of a gang of outlaws after a gun duel gone wrong, resulting in said gang destroying his hometown and killing everyone in it except himself. He didn't mean to, but he seeks atonement for inadvertently causing the deaths of everything he held dear. He softens up after saving a little gold rush village by the name of Success Town after being reminded of how it felt to protect the innocent.

Coming from an RPG, there's no doubt that there's something up with Sundown. However, compared to the other characters (even Masaru), he's relatively normal. Though, you'll soon see how deserving he is of being called the fastest gun in the west. Despite his skillset being best described as "shooting people," "shooting multiple people," and "shooting multiple people many times," his damage output is insane if your luck is good. His famous Hurricane Shot is the most notable, being able to cover a large area with lead. I suppose that means he's fast on the draw and the reload?
