Marlo is a young summoner in training, working to increase his potential and make his master proud. His attire is rather simple, consisting of a vest, somewhat poofy pants, and wrappings over his chest, along with a necklace resembling some kind of portal (although it's not shown in the image). The boy actually keeps his belly exposed for a reason. His magical energy is drawn from his stomach, so he has to eat large amounts very often to keep himself 'fueled'. He can't have his growing gut rip his clothes up, now can he? He calls forth his summons from the portal necklace, using a staff as a sort of 'magic conductor' or something. The creatures he can actually summon are few, but this youngster's always learning, so his roster will slowly but surely blossom!
Marlo's a very friendly lad, if a little simple-minded. He's not too smart, but he's very observant. He also tends to get really attached to the people he meets (provided they treat him well), to the point that he'll even call them "big bro" or "big sis".
As mentioned earlier, the young summoner has to eat to fuel his magic. As a result, he has a nigh-insatiable appetite. He could clean out an entire banquet's worth of food faster than you could say "Soup's on!" You'll often see him either mid-feast or post-feast, caressing a very rounded stomach. Though, Marlo likes to travel, and he doesn't always have food on hand, so if his mana tank is low, some unlucky passerby might end up crammed into a little boy's tummy.
Speaking of tummies, Marlo seems to have a slight fascination with them. He'll occasionally walk over to someone and stare at their stomach, or even reach up to 'fondle' it, especially if it's a softer stomach. He tends to get away with it because most people can't get over how goddamn cute the kid is. Those other times... he summons his dragon for a quick getaway.
Marlo's Summons
"Tinywings": Marlo's first summon, as well as his 'partner'. It's pretty small, only slightly smaller than the boy himself, and it's not very 'powerful'. In fact, Marlo mostly uses it for transportation, either on the ground or in the air. It's named 'Tiny'wings, but it's wings are average for the dragon's size. Tiny's far from a 'mindless' beast. It might even be smarter than Marlo, knowing when to drag the boy away from a dangerous situation. But, despite being stuck with a novice summoner with an ungodly appetite, it still cares for Marlo, like a sibling. ...Marlo's still trying to figure out whether it's a 'he' or a 'she'.
"Unnamed Slime": Something Marlo summoned during a training session one day. It's not very intelligent, but it's very obedient. It also tastes pretty good, making it a perfect makeshift meal for Marlo. One still wonders if he summons the same slime every time, or if there's an endless supply of them somewhere out there...
"Cacao": A personally-handy summon taught to him by "Big Sis
Belialah". Cacao's a little bitter towards Marlo for being forced by Belialah to obey him, ironic considering she's a chocolate cake demoness.
"Tixjinn": Most commonly called "Tix", the first 'battle-ready' summon Marlo's learned since Tinywings. He's a short, chubby demon with power over wind, able to create either tiny gusts or massive hurricanes just by taking a deep breath and blowing really hard. Marlo's really fond of Tix, mostly because he loves hugging and rubbing Tix's round belly, plus the little demon is one of the few he's met that can match the summoner's gluttony. Despite Tix's smug attitude, he respects Marlo, and sees him as a sort of 'little brother'. The two have bonded so much that Tiny's started to get a little jealous.
Tix is so far the only summon with
a visual.
"Pok": Y'know those pakkun lizard things from those Mana games with the long tongues that gobble the characters up? Yeah, Marlo HAD to have one of those, so after a bit of research, he learned how to summon one. This is a pretty recent summon, so the only thing we know about Pok is
