Unlike other foxes that roamed the woods of southern Ionia, Ahri had always felt a strange connection to the magical world around her; a connection that was somehow incomplete. Deep inside, she felt the skin she had been born into was an ill fit for her and dreamt of one day becoming human. Her goal seemed forever out of reach, until she happened upon the wake of a human battle. It was a grisly scene, the land obscured by the forms of wounded and dying soldiers. She felt drawn to one: a robed man encircled by a waning field of magic whose life was quickly slipping away. She approached him and something deep inside of her triggered, reaching out to the man in a way she couldn't understand. His life essence poured into her, carried on invisible strands of magic. The sensation was intoxicating and overwhelming. As her reverie faded, she was delighted to discover that she had changed. Her sleek white fur had receded and her body was long and lithe, the shape of the humans who lay scattered about her.

However, though she appeared human, she knew that in truth the transformation was incomplete. A cunning creature, she adapted herself to the customs of human society and used her profound gift of beauty to attract unsuspecting men. She could consume their life essences when they were under the spell of her seductive charms. Feeding on their desires brought her closer to her dream, but as she took more lives, a strange sense of regret began to well within her. She had reservations about actions which never troubled her as a fox. She realized that she could not overcome the pangs of her evolving morality. In search of a solution, Ahri found the Institute of War, home of the most gifted mages on Runeterra. They offered her a chance to attain her humanity without further harm through service in the League of Legends.

Background:

Ahri is a very powerful nine-tailed kitsune, very egotistical, brandishing a powerful set of fire and soul magics. She also has a strong charm spell to heavily infatuate a person with her, making them love her, and need to be with her, for a period of time. In combat this is usually a short time, but she is capable of making it last near lifetimes when out of combats, depending how much magic she channels into it, making taking a life, or even a soul, a breeze at times, and feeding her self centred, nature. As a kitsune she did love taking souls, to feed her powers.

She has been called a slut before, and had no need to deny it, finding sex, seduction and her charm magics as effective in getting as she wants as her foxfire and soul-orbs. These non-violent methods helping to her advantage as shes fairly "soft" and "squishy" in terms of endurance, when compared to fellow champions. She opts to stay at range when seduction fails and cast her Foxfire and soul-orb spells and is very vulnerable at close range and to being counter-attacked. She can also run out of mana if she uses her combat powers too fast at once, though she can always throw blue fireballs, regardless.

Other than previously being slutty and seductive Ahri's nature was often seen as sly, cunning, egotistical, placing little value on others beyond "uses" and somewhat cold. If you find three flaming foxes rushing too you, Ahri believed you'd outlived your usefulness or never had any to her to begin with. She had no problem killing those of little use to her. "At least they serve as entertainment in death"

Or at least she was like that.

Ahri Today:

As Ahri absorbed souls and learnt of the world around her she slowly became more "human", developing a conscience and feeling guilty for killing those she fed on or used. She began to gain a sense of "right & wrong" and realised the life she was leading was oh so very wrong. She realised she couldn't keep doing this, leaving a trail of bodies she left behind wherever she went, this was cruel and wrong. It had to stop. With the help of the Institute of War and League it did. Mostly.

Now she tries to live a mostly quiet "normal" life, as much as a creature of her kind can do such... Attempting to avoid hurting people outside of the league and trying to do away with her former cruel and slutty image and attitude. Sometimes it still peaks through though, still sometimes being egotistical and acting as if she is the best of the best, though usually tries to be calmer and politer.

She enjoys reading and learning more of human cultures and histories, hoping it will allow her to get closer to being human, even when she occasionally takes a soul/essence she tries to at least integrate any knowledge of their mind into her own, gaining skills and abilities through this.

The easiest way to get close to her is to be nice and treat her like the person she's trying to be. Try and avoid bringing up her past before getting to know her well, it's something she's ashamed of.

On a side note Ahri may've also become a massive popstar. With the help of Sona.
