Not So Humble Beginnings

Summer grew up in Salt Lick City. She was born and raised there by her two loving, yet problematic parents. Summer's Dad had a gambling problem while her mother was always buried in her to pay the bills and sometimes, Debts. Summer didnt mind though, she loved her parents very much and every chance she got, she would love them by cuddling or kissing or by just being a loving filly. At school she was reguarded as one of the nobodys, but she never got picked on because she just stayed away from the ponies she didnt like and her grades were always A's. She was a very smart filly with a loving heart and sharp mind. Her parents were always proud of her and she could always be seen with a smile on her face~



Bad Habits

Summer was a very happy and content filly, until 3 days after her 9th birthday. A couple of large stallions entered her house, dressed in very fancy suits, the leader, a deep blue unicorn, was telling Summer's dad that he owed them money and if he didnt deliver in 2 days, his family would get the blasting of a lifetime. Summer didnt understand what the unicorn meant but her father begged and pleaded, not able to come up with 200K worth of bits in 2 days! he tried his best, but after 2 days all they had raised was 150K worth of bits, and they had sold most of their things! Summer was cuddled into her mother when the stallions returned. They counted the money and shook their heads before the leader spoke. "Your 50K short. So, we can do dis the hard way or the easy way. The easy way is will blast your wife and keep the kid. The hard way, we blast all of yous." The unicorn nods. Summer's father shook his head and begged for forgiveness but the Unicorn shook his head before shooting a purple beam of light at Summer's mother, who screamed and turned to dust! Summer sprang up and patted the dust, crying as there was a 2nd shot. Her father jumped in the way of the magic blast and was but dust as well. Summer, greif stricken, jumped at the stallion before he could release a 3rd shot, punching, kicked and biting him! The stallion winced at the bite but otherwise laughed and picked Summer up. "Haha, ya got spunk kid. Tell ya what, we'll keep ya! Maybe ya can prove useful." The unicorn laughed as Summer was carried out of her home.


Present Day

Summer remembers that day perfectly, the anger and grief in her heart very prominent. She has since grown up, been trained and inherited her fathers debts PLUS interest. She now owes the Salt Lick City mob 4 million bits due to interest over the time she was growing up. She was trained to be an expert thief, to steal the most precious gems and artifacts but to never kill. Summer has tried to attack the Don 4 times, each ending with her beaten, bloody and locked in her cell for 2 weeks, sometimes without food for a few days. On the days when she is sent out on a mission, the unicorn who brought her to the mob watches her as she single hoofedly sneaks into wherever they want her to go, and brings her back when she succeeds. If Summer fails to get what she is after, she is locked in her cell for 2 more weeks or until they need her. She has become very good at breaking into high security buildings and if she does as she is told, she gets 2-3 days of actually being out in public.
