Strega is a black and white, six legged, weasel-like carnivore. She is entirely nonanthrpomorphic, with no recognizable humanoid features at all. Each of her six paws, though, has an apparently clawless, opposable 'thumb' toe on either side of the clawed 'finger' toes. In effect, each of her paws is a large, clumsy hand.

Strega is about the size of a Bengal tiger and weighs some 550 pounds (250 kilograms), depending on whether she's eaten someone recently.

Strega is female, but her player is male. Because of the confusion this tends to engender, she sometimes wears fake 'boobies of gender identification.' (She does not have human-style mammaries). Normally she wears only a leather and elastic harness that supports several pouches.

Strega also tends to carry the so-called 'squirrel cannon' (a squirrel launcher mounted on a helmet) in one of her harness pouches. The feed tube for the cannon leads to a greenish, frisbee-sized disc -- apparently some sort of squirrel-generating apparatus.
