Starfire_and_Raven

The world famous alien and sorceress, most noted for their work in the Teen Titans, a group they enjoyed with all their friends, but no such group could last forever. Eventually something would happen to split up the group, although not necessarily negative. It has left the two on their own, which isn't the worst thing. The two still resolved to stick together, going from a crime-fighting team, to a crime-fighting duo who still meet with their friends regularly, even work with them! Of course, that hasn't stopped people from freaking out. A super hero team 'breaks up' and people demand to know why or come up with all kinds of hare-brained schemes and ideas for what happened. It usually leads to a lot of eye rolling on Raven's part. Even after all this time Starfire's still a bit too earnest to do anything but try to assure people that it's not as bad as they seem to think.

All things considered life's pretty good for the two of them though. They cover each other's weaknesses pretty well, what with Starfire being a raw powerhouse in terms of range or close quarters, while Raven brings a number of supportive skills to the table as well as her own fierce offensive. It's led them to still manage to find success, that and continued training and improvement to make sure they don't fall behind. It was a bit rocky at first sure, but at this point? They're an established duo, and it doesn't seem like much will change that.

Aside from fighting crime the two spend a lot of their free time in a new base they've...acquired. Okay it's an orbital satellite that they got to keep after defeating the villain who had built and occupied it. Don't worry, Cyborg helped them make sure it was completely safe with no lingering weapons of any kind bar defensive systems. It gives the two a great lookout over the world, and is a convenient place to live really. The two are...pretty popular with the folk on Earth, and that can lead to hordes of fans chasing after them. Sure that's not always bad (Starfire likes it a lot more than Raven though that's for sure), but it can still be nice to have a place so far away no journalist or nosy fan could ever reach them.

All that said their dynamic isn't perfect. The two still have plenty of times when they get on each other's nerves...or rather, when Starfire gets on Raven's nerves. It's incredibly rare for the opposite to happen and sometimes that leads to a few...issues. Of course Raven has a pretty good method for dealing with Starfire when that happens, assuming that what's annoying her doesn't get too out of hand before she can do that.
