Oh look, a cute little fairy!

Careful, though. The most dangerous things are those you least suspect of being dangerous. Like, say... a cute little fairy.

Awwwh, but she's so cute! How could she be dangerous at all?

Weeeeeell... that's a secret! But, for the most part, she isn't dangerous at all. Appearances aren't TOO deceiving, as it were.

But what, you may ask, IS she? Aside from a fairy, anyway.

Well, Stardust here is a Flower Fairy. Specifically, she's a Summer Stardust Flower fairy. She was born in that particular plant, and it shows in her distinctive wing colors and her peculiar petal ears. It's not something she minds, though, as she can't help where she was born at all, and it's really made her life interesting!

You see, Flower Fairies tend to gain attributes of their parent plants. (they aren't born from the plants from NOTHING, of course. There's other things involved). The Summer Stardust Flower is, in fact, a carnivorous plant, one that swells in the summer and, of course, shrivels in the winter, though not to the point of death. It is also a rather hardy perennial flower, living quite some time for a flower, barring an unfortunate accident of some sort.

So what does this mean for this particular fairy? Well, for one, she's carnivorous. Oh, she'll eat fruit and such, because sweets are simply delicious, but at the same time she can eat quite sizeable things. Something her size is an easy meal, if she wants it! Something bigger? Well. some humans have been quite perplexed and then dismayed when they've been scrunched up into her belly, which never seems to swell more than if she'd eaten someone her size. Slightly smaller, really.

She's really a fairly silly thing. As a Flower Fairy, she's one of the Wildfae, not owing allegiance to any fairy nobility or such. She wanders where she will and does as she pleases, at least until someone gets upset and does something unpleasant to her. However, not being a mortal, and not having a soul to steal, anything that happens is impermanent, and she'll be back, sooner or later.

What can she do? Well, she grows from midwinter to midsummer, and shrinks from midsummer to midwinter, between four and seven inches tall. You know. Not a normal person's mouthful, but a nice snack all the same! In addition, she can provide some healing, and she's pretty sweet, with a scent of honeysuckles and a taste like sweet summer berries. As well, she trails little specks that look like, well, stardust, when she flies, and she tends to have a faint, green aura around her.

As for her figure? Well, it's shown fairly nicely, but for her smooth, toned legs. She's a wonderful treat, in more ways than one, if you can get her! And if you're REALLY nice, well, she might do something special for you!

Fun facts! As winter nears, Stardust gets smaller and smaller, and more and more neurotic and clingy. How about that?

In addition, her ears get smaller, and her wings, hair, and clothing slowly fade to red. Her aura slowly changes in the same manner.
