Sombra

Sombra. Shadow. Not exactly the most welcoming of names, but it's what had been branded onto this unfamiliar creature dating her contact with man. In fact, it hadn't even been given to her, it was merely some description of her in Spanish spoken over a campfire by a beach. Quite the eavesdropper. But why would she grow attached to something that associated too much to fear and darkness? It's her nature. She's accepted it long ago, a cold-blooded, sea-faring predator was the fate doomed to her at birth, a doom she's as inclined to accept as her personally coined name. It's her nature, after all. Stalking within the waters shrouded by an abyssal night, watching, waiting for the rush of the kill. A life worth living, for her tastes at least.

A reserved individual keen on remaining a hermit from man, information of Sombra is obscure, and often comes from unreliable sources. Fables, soliloquy, vague personal experiences, myths, all sorts of poorly-told rambling are the only fragments of a false image of this Bigfoot of the sea. It's entirely undiscovered if this creature is capable of sapient thought, Sombra's existence and that of her species hasn't even been verified yet. The only way to figure out just who or what she is is partaking in an encounter, or to run into her accidentally, and then it's just as uncertain as to how the meeting will play out. Depends on her appetite.

Sombra's profile is deliberately short and vague for the sake of realism and evolving character. Not every scene has to end in someone being eaten, or have to be intentional at all.

Very little I will not do, watersports is a no-no and scat's a bit iffy with me. If it can happen, I can make it happen.
