Appearance:
As she's a reticulan Solara doesn't exactly look imposing though she looks a good deal more human than you'd expect. She stands rather shorter than average with a light and petite build somewhat lacking in physical strength. Her colouration largely depends on whether she's disguised or not. Her skin naturally is a grey shade, though quite warm and dry despite the unusual hue, her hair is a faintly metallic white and she has it nape length whether disguised or not. Lastly when undisguised her eyes are a nearly abbyssal black with no discernable pupil or iris, this while a little eery gives her like all Reticulans extremely good vision in low light conditions with the downside that bright lights hurt her. While we're on the subject of eyes though she has a second set of eyelids perpendicular to the regular kind.


Now when disguised she looks a lot less otherworldly, a pair of encompassing contact lenses serve to emulate the appearance of human eyeballs while dye serves to give her skin a pale and pinky hue and her hair a black colour.

Clothing: You can find the grey wearing either nothing, a shipboard jumpsuit or whatever clothing she thinks will blend in with human populations.

Personality:
Solara genuinely likes humans and being around them, finding it more liberating than the conformist similarity involved in day to day Reticulan life. While the bright lights humanity is fond of (including the sun) do hurt her eyes forcing her to wear shades when out in the sun she's an explorer, curious about the doings of mankind and genuinely friendly. Her fondness for feeling such beings digesting inside her is kind of a guilty pleasure to her even though its considered normal for her kind.

Equipment descriptions:
Bracer: More a thick band bracelet than a bracer though when it's being used as a computer it extends to the elbow. Contains a scanner, interface, datareader and most importantly her personal forcefield generator which provides quite good defence against primitive and/or low power weaponry she's liable to encounter on mission though is not sufficient for protecting against, for instance, Reticulan plasma weapons.

Plasma pistol: A compact piece of Reticulan hardware this highly concealable weapon looks almost like a stretched oval with a grip attached. It also has an intermittent fault with the plasma loop that requires it to be reset whenever the charge destabilizes. None the less it's awfully potent as weapons go. So when it's not glitching the explosive plasma bolts it launches are quite devastating.

Stun grenades: spheres a bit bigger than a tennis ball which have a timed trigger. When they 'detonate' they projects a sonic and electromagnetic cacophony that disrupts nervous systems and consciousness, they must be recharged before re use.

Scout Saucer: A small interstellar starship that can support three crew long term or five crew short term. It conforms loosely to the typical vision of a classical UFO Saucer albeit complicated by myriad externally mounted equipment, power conduits and piping. The vessel uses gravity manipulation for flight allowing it to of course hover but also applies acceleration in any direction. For interstellar travel it uses a dimensional shortcut. Regarding defences the Saucer is built from alien alloys that are extremely light in comparison to their strength though the craft lacks the armour or shielding of a Invasion or Conquest Saucer. The main defence of the Saucer is stealth, its emissions are minimal and it doesnt reflect radar though its still visible to the naked eye. The Saucer's only offensive armament is a light Reticulan energy beam mounted forwards. Other equipment aboard the Saucer consists of assorted scanners, tractor beams, medical devices and a cloning tank for if Solara gets KIA.

Psionics:
Greys are telepathic, able to read minds, send messages and have some mental suggestion and control ability.

History:
Reticulans, the race who did things to cows and abducted people using flying saucers, however the inhuman faces turn out to be masks they wear and the rest of the description was distorted by the stress the abductees were under. This is not to say that the Reticulans didnt do all these things though. A secretive race of highly advanced beings with psychic powers the Reticulans have done many things to the lesser races, using infiltrators to study them so that they can be eliminated before they become a threat to Reticulan dominance. One such infiltrator is Solara, with more individuality than the conformist regulars that make up the majority of the Reticulan species she's sent to operate apart from the rest in study of the lesser races.
