Smolder was born in the dragon and kirin neighborhood of Canterlot City, a part of the city that's known for its violent inhabitants and gang issues. Smolder was born in a family affiliated with the Red Dragons, and was raised to one day be part of the gang. Fortunately for her, as part of a city project to unite all the different races of Canterlot City, Smolder was enrolled from a young age into the Canterlot schooling system. She made a few friends there growing up, but no school system can take the dragon out of a girl. During her free time, she lashed out her pent up violence into bullying her fellow students and setting things on fire. When that became a problem with her friends, she focused her attention more subtle disruptive activities, picking up the art of grafiti during her midteens.
It began with simple drawings on the walls of the school, but Smolder quickly found out that she was rather gifted with spray paint, and began experimenting with old dragonic magics to embue her raw passion into her paint. The paint became an extension of her will, and the images she painted an extension of herself, allowing her to create... interesting situations. She began bullying people again in new creative ways, with no way for anyone to prove it was her who did it. Over the last years of highschool, she became the terror of the school's underground scene.
Eventually, she graduated highschool, not with the best grade, but somehow enough to enroll in college, where she continued her reign of terror. That's where she's currently at, spending her time between being on campus, setting up grafiti traps all over the city, and taunting anything that move. There's rumors that she's girlfriend with a shapeshifter, but she would deny it. With fire.
To put it midly, Smolder is a jerk. She cares for her friends, her brother and... that's it. Everyone else she sees as existing only for her to torment or take adventage of. That's not to say she's completely heartless, she had somewhat of a social life and enjoy meeting new people, but she will be wary of them. Like most dragons, greed is a powerful motivator of her actions, and she will pursue goals that will allow her to gain more and more power, influence or money.
Using her draconic magic, Smolder embued her raw power into her spray paint, which has several interesting effects:
- The paint is linked to Smolder's mind, and she can sense any location where she has previously put a grafiti. Grafitis older than a months bear no sympathetic connection and cannot be used for that purpose.
- Active grafitis can move on their own, and interact with the real world, depending what they represent.
- Smolder can possess grafitis in the shape of a head, allowing her to eat people from a distance.
- The paint particles can temporarily be suspended into the air for up to a minute, allowing her to make simple drawings into the air.
- The paint can be embued with fire and used as a makeshift molotov cocktail, in a situation of emergency.
For simplicity sake, I have only 5 levels of preferences on the bars below. Note that the preferences are sometime different between prey and pred.
-100%: Don't even try to involve that in a scene. No means no.
-50%: I will probably never play that, but you never know, I may feel in the mood for it.
0%: I don't really care either way if it's part of the scene or not. May depends on other things.
50%: I'm fine with it being in any scene I play. Fun stuff is fun.
100%: Those are my favourites. I rarely will say no to scene that contains it.
