An amorphous creature that came to be by the compressing of toxic gasses that had spread throughout the island of Punk Hazard. It was locked up in the Burning Lands of the island by one Ceaser Clown but, was later released three years after it's sealing. The poisonous mass doesn't seem to have much of a sentient mind of it's own and is fairly animalistic in terms of intelligence but, does seem to recognize and follow orders from those with superiority over it. Beyond this, Smiley can be seen as a fairly primitive creature that does things purely by impulse. However, it's understanding and recognition of certain important people may hint to the amorph being able to distinguish friend from foe if it is taught to do so. Granted, the job itself will most likely be incredibly dangerous given it's nature and physical properties. Smiley is a large gelatinous mass, being described as larger than most mountains. Smiley also doesn't appear to have a definite shape but, can usually form a head and 'eyes'. Because of it's powers of the Sara Sara no Mi: Model Axolotl, Smiley has the ability to morph it's body into that of an Axolotl at will.
The body of Smiley, while simple in appearance, is composed of highly poisonous material and a constant plume of toxic vapors emits from random areas on it's body, making close contact difficult and dangerous for those not prepared to deal with noxious gasses and sludge. Smiley appears to have several weaknesses despite it's huge body mass, one of these being that of water. Fire also seems to be a glaring weakness to the amorph but, it's thick 'skin' seems to insulate this weakness behind layers upon layers of oozing slime. However, if the flaming material enters the body of Smiley, then the reaction with the gasses in it's body will cause it to violently explode. Smiley also appears to be able to split itself into smaller entities, subtracting from it's overall mass, but giving it a much wider range of combat. It's devil fruit powers of the Sara Sara no Mi seems to have given it both the transformation abilities of a Zoan as well as a small amount of sentience needed to make it a living entity.
