So a story here... I am not sure.
So lets go with a story where it sort of fits the idea in mind. Smaug is in a new life, and just doesn't mind putting his pride on displace. Not gold but rather that shaft of his. He met with Acilia and they became mates. And as dragons go they are loyal to one another. However Acilia can convince him to allow another into their pairing. namely a human or anthro as she does need a toy. They are quite large dragons so a human or anthro wouldn't be hard to keep for the pair.
So other than that they don't have the same gold evy that most dragons fall under. Which is lucky so at least there is that. But expect to either have a simple life with/within one of them. It isn't so bad as they take care of you and the food you need. So their home is your home along with the insides of one of them. Take your pick. Male bowels or bladder; or female bowels or womb. As their stomachs are boiling places.

BlueHairedHuman - Jay, An alchemist came from where he was rooted at before with two potions that caused bonding with him... their ingredients were unknown. But he came to a cliff to find down below that there were a pair of dragons just sleeping there. He climbed down for a closer look at the pair. He had a sneezing fit which woke them partly and made Smaug sniff around. He didn't smell the Alchemist at first but after a few moments and the wrong wind his scent came to the dragon's nose and from there Smaug got up. Followed it and found their admirer of sorts. Talking with him then tasting him. Soon coming to enjoy his taste and continue the licking for a while. Asking him questions before getting Jay too close to the throat. Jay would pour the first potion in and from there Smaug calmed his attemtp to eat Jay. Then after a few more moments letting him free to talk. And learn about the mate. Which ended up that Smaug had to help him by pushing him deep into the bowels of his mate. There Jay crawled deeper while the pair had sex. And used the second potion. The results were that there were two calm dragons that were friendly with him. They had bonded with him Surprising he had such a potion made. Perhaps lucky as well as the other options were becoming Smaug's meal, or the toy for the two. In the end he got the better deal where he became a toy at his own choice as he had the position of rider with them.
