About Skylar:
What is there to be said about this Phoenix from a mountain village to the west? For starters, life for him at a young age was rough. He spent the majority of his first few centuries learning exactly why Phoenix have the ability to rebirth. Reckless and foolish, he found more then his fair share or trouble, even bringing his family into a few scrapes one too many times that ended up with the fledgling being banished until he was over ten thousand years old.
As far as Phoenix age goes, this was a light punishment, but one can imagine how lonely that could get when you knew no one in the world but those inhabitants of the village that you lived in and your family. Being naught more then three hundred or so, Skylar spent a good portion of the next few hundred years finding his way through life and figuring out what it was he was suppose to do. It was during this time alone that he was able to hone his skills with magic, to master the art of shifting from his natural born Phoenix form to that of a human, as well as a full fire form that he could access at the peak of his powers.
Around the same time, Skylar met and was accepted into a clan of peculiar foxes.. Silvery gray coated, coyote sized foxes, that had marvelous magic capabilities as well as one that seemed oddly similar to his own rebirth techniques.. With a slight variation of course. He lived with them in their glade, learned more about their species in general and about their history and culture and was quite content for a good millennia or so.. six to be exact. He watched the passing of the elders he had met during this time, watched a younger pair take the position as elders and grew closer to this pair then the previous one. The daughter of these elders, an amethyst eyed vixen by the name of Kitasani, ended up being his closest friend and like a sister to him.
It was with this clan that had him feeling at home again, and though he would often venture off and be gone for an undetermined amount of time, he would always come back to that forest.. to return to his 'family'.

Note: Since it seems to be an ongoing issue, I will say this now. I am not difficult to deal with when it comes to RPing. I will quite often throw out my own preferences for the sake of the partner I am playing with. However, if you ask me for something specific, expect me to give you what you ask for. You ask me to be dominant, expect me to do as such, but keep in mind it is hard to fill that roll if you act contradicting to it. Mixed signals do not work well me.
Also, keep in mind that I am not entirely fond of being approached in PM for an RP. It is very rare that I will accept when you do so. Get to know me in chat before you jump down my throat for play.
We all come here for fun, so let's try to work the kinks out before running headlong into a wall due to differences. Thanks.
