S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
This is an acronym.
What does it stand for?
Scavenger, Trespasser, Adventurer, Loner, Killer, Explorer, Robber.
This alone describes Simca, and the rest of her kind, almost infallibly.
Most of you might know of the Chernobyl Disaster in the year 1986. But are you aware that there was another? The year 2006 brought yet another catastrophe to Chernobyl and the surrounding area. But this one was... different.
Many of those who had returned to the area following the first nuclear plant explosion were killed. But others were not so lucky. The wildlife, too. Much of that which lived around Chernobyl was altered forever... mutated into horrors that no sane person would stand to be around.
And that's not all. Pockets of dense radiation still linger around the waters and abandoned machinery of this section of Ukraine.
And then there are the anomalies. That second explosion ripped the reality of the landscape apart, leaving areas of bizarrely warped physics.
And to top it all off, there are occasionally 'blowouts'... emissions stemming from the old nuclear power plant that wreak havoc on those living things that are unable to find cover in time.
So why in the name of all that is holy would anyone ever come to this horrid place... this 'Zone'... around the remnants of that devastated plant?
Money. The dead and fleeing left behind a fortune in equipment. But not only that. Anomalies, when under the right stressors, produce Artifacts. These bizarre items bestow a bit of the reality-warping power of the anomalies on those that carry them, allowing a person to become superhuman... with, of course, a bit of a price.
And this is where Simca comes in. Simca, a girl born of French and Ukranian mixed ancestry, was drawn to the curiosities of the Zone at the age of 24. She's been in that hellhole ever since, relishing the adventure, the violence, and the struggle against the day-to-day adversities that brutally crush the unprepared.
Simca has an odd affinity for the Zone, and anomalies in particular. Scattered reports have surfaced telling of her ability to combine artifacts into new, unseen types... her ability to shatter artifacts and create anomalies in their wake... her ability to completely dissipate an anomaly... and more.
She has a small fortune in rubles, artifacts and weapons amassed, and she could probably retire if she wanted, but she never will. She is one of the few Stalkers that truly enjoys the challenge presented by the twisted landscape that sprung up from one of the worst human-error catastrophes in history.
Oh, and for those of you that are too lazy and skipped down here to see how she eats people, I don't like you, but whatever~ Because of her artifacts she can oral vore and hairvore folks. There are also mutants that can do the eating for her.
