Silvie

While some claw their way to greatness, others are born legendary. Such is the case with Silvie, a girl that exists between two worlds. The rarest of the rare, a Lugia not like any other, she is neither human nor completely pokemon (for all intents and purposes should be considered entirely the latter). For that reason she knows no kin, no family or friend. Not even her origin which remains a mystery.

Yes, not even Sylvie knows the story of her creation! Only the memories of waking to the moonlight, surrounded by weathered marble and the steam of hot springs on some deserted island, offer any kind of hint to how it is she came about.

Really, it doesn't make a difference to her any more in this weird world where her sort are bound in servitude to snot nose children. Nor does she seek anyone else, something given up some time ago. She holds trainers in contempt for they try in vain to catch her for, in her words, 'bragging rights'. She holds herself above pokemon for she has all their strength and versatility yet has the qualities of mankind. In fact, with little effort at all, on her best days she is mistaken for a cosplayer.

These feelings burn inside of her, making what should be a majestic and benevolent creature into an arrogant and selfish girl who at her nicest plays pranks on foolish trainers and at her worst sets disasters in motion as befitting of someone that should be "The Guardian of the Sea". The other Lugia surely pity her but why could she possibly care when they haven't reached 'her level'? When they don't know what it's like!

And, of course, can anyone blame her when every other meeting seems to turn into a battle? All she is is a commodity so why should she care. Any pity should be saved for the foolish 'pokemon master' that thinks they can touch her for there hasn't been a pokeball yet that she can't sunder.

Special note: Allegedly her wings/hands are actually part of a 'gown' (really, it's a hoodie) not unlike that mentioned in tales of the Swan Maidens or fairy robes. If that it is true, it is not unreasonable to assume that she can remove them on a whim for a more human appearance.
