Sideon

"So, what'd you think you were going to do when you beat Daddy, huh? Run his show? Sorry to say it, kid, but this is my stage now, and you're still just a puny demi-god. Begone!"

Defeat Poseidon, get revenge, take his throne. It all seemed like such an easy plan to the bastard demi-god, until Hades took his victory from him. But perhaps it'd be best to start from the beginning. The very beginning.

Sideon was born from a rather touchy union between the God of the Seas Poseidon and a siren, which initially seems as if it may be an impossible union, but was more on the line of 'forbidden'. Prior to his conception, Zeus declared that the nymphs were no longer to be touched by the gods, but Posideon broke this order and soon was left to try to eliminate the proof of this folly, lest he be banished from Mount Olympus and stripped of his title. Well, needless to say that the little bastard didn't want to drown, and in fact lived in Atlantis for a time before, again, Poseidon attempted to eliminate him. Again, a failure, though this time it was not without repercussions. Sideon took control of an ancient power source belonging to the dead culture and utilized it to murder his father, hoping that killing him and assuming his place as the deity of the seas may allow him to somehow right the wrongs that were done upon him and the people of Atlantis, but unfortunately Hades had other plans. With Poseidon in his domain of the dead, his immortal soul trapped in the underworld, he took to the seas and made its depths treacherous for sailors, and banished Sideon from them to live with the mortals until he may amass enough power to attempt such a plot again, something the deity doubted would come to pass.

So, Sideon's a half-siren, half-god living amongst mortals. He has the typical spectrum of abilities associated with this, from a lovely singing voice to an alluring, hypnotic stare, he takes quite a bit after his mother. He also holds incredible agility in combat, as well as a few alternate forms that he'll occasionally bring out upon particularly rowdy individuals, but he'll keep those secrets under his hat for the time being...

As for what he does now? Well, he's mostly a lurker, an interloper, a mingler. He spends his time in the company of mortals and immortals alike, though he often reminisces on how much he misses the ocean, usually landlocked and under the constant surveillance of Hades' agents. He's taken many appearances and filled many roles in his time amongst the mortals, but has learned that attention doesn't suit him particularly well as trouble is quick to follow it. Regardless, he still has needs and desires... Companionship is pretty high on the list, and it's likely one of the most available things to him. The desire for such, however, may be considered a deadly weakness, but the siren'll work his charms how he sees fit.
