Shou__

The man you see before you looks to be quite plain, right? Black scruffy hair, purple eyes, standing at 6ft tall. He looks like an average person you would wandering the Nexus and easy prey for any hungry predator to just snatch up and chow down on. In some ways, you'd be correct, but in others you'd be wrong.
He goes by the name Shou, no last name, and what you see is not his true form, rather just the one he chooses to use when out in public. Shou is most of the time a quiet guy, he values his quiet time and dislikes loud noises. He's the kind of guy who would rather sit down with a nice book and a cup of tea or a glass of wine rather than go out partying, he doesn't distance himself from others simply because he's antisocial, it's due to the fact that he's lived for an ungodly long time and has seen the same events happen again and again, one after another. He just needs something to spark his interest, then his attention is all yours.

If you're able to get past his quiet nature and get him to be more open, he's a nice guy who does go out of his way to help others to the best of his abilities. His knowledge while vast, does make him a bit... very, stupid when it comes to social queues. Makes it hard to believe that he's been around as long as he has. If there's something he doesn't know, he goes out of his way to learn about it.

As stated before, Shou is able to change his form, into what? Anything he pleases. He can change from the form you see now, to being a snake in the grass. Sprout wings, grow a tail, become a cat that wants to sleep on your lap, anything. His physical abilities aren't all that impressive, in fact it's pretty easy to push him around. His most impressive ability is that he is able to walk the path between dimensions, vanishing from reality while still traversing it at the same time. He does this more often than not when he wants to return to a certain place. The Lost Archive. (Please check out Arcadia__ for more info on the place.) If he doesn't want to make the journey, he is able to open small portals and pull objects from the archive through to him, this would be where most of his books come from. While inside the archive, he is comparable to a god, it is his domain, and what he says goes.

After seeing all of this, the question to be asked is "What is he?", right? Who knows, maybe he's a god, maybe he's something more. Perhaps he's just a human blessed with these powers. If you ask him, he will only respond with a shrug. Maybe, in all the time he's been alive he's forgotten the details.
