"Welcome, I hope your travels were safe..."
Shiki Ameno is the uncertain heir to his family's innhouse. When his mother suddenly passed away, he was forced to prepare for the prince of his country in her stead... and thus, he took up his mother's mantle, despite his other dreams.
When on the job, Shiki has a serious and dutiful persona, mostly out of a need for a young person like him to project a confident aura. As he says himself, "A disarming smile only puts people less at ease."
Shiki is adept at grappling, though his style is mostly self-taught out of necessity. There comes times where an innkeeper must resort to force to maintain the inn's peace.
The inn is located just off one of the main roads of Shiki's country. Its interior is traditional, Shiki's family historically favoring simple design.
When off the job, Shiki is a more easy-going person, and far less responsible than his workplace persona may make him seem. His lack of travel makes him lonely, which makes him crave conversation from anyone who may visit him in particular. His housing is right next to his innhouse in case anything were to ever go wrong- he would be close by to respond easily.
"Don't cause any trouble, and we'll get along just fine."
Meant for flexibile setting play, generally fantasy or past but can be modern, too.
